主耶和華說，我難道喜歡惡人死亡嗎？我豈不是更願他們痛改前非並活著嗎？

主耶和华说：恶人死亡，岂是我喜悦的吗？不是喜悦他回头离开所行的道存活吗？

恶人死亡，岂是我所喜悦的呢？我岂不是喜悦他回转离开所行的道而存活吗？这是主耶和华说的。

难道我喜悦恶人死亡吗？我不是喜悦他回转离开他所行的而存活吗？这是主耶和华的宣告。

主耶和華說：惡人死亡，豈是我喜悅的嗎？不是喜悅他回頭離開所行的道存活嗎？

惡人死亡，豈是我所喜悅的呢？我豈不是喜悅他回轉離開所行的道而存活嗎？這是主耶和華說的。

主永恆主發神諭說：惡人死亡哪裏是我喜悅的呢？我不是喜歡他回轉離開他所行的以得活着麼？

主耶和華曰、惡人死亡、豈我所悅、我寧不悅其轉離惡途、而得生存乎、

主耶和華曰、維彼惡人、自取死亡、豈我所悅、我豈不以悛改得生為悅乎。

主天主曰、我豈以惡人之死亡為悅乎、我豈不以其悛改惡行而得生存為悅乎、

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

When sinful people die, it does not give me any joy,” announces the Lord and King.“ But when they turn away from their sins and live, that makes me very happy.

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord God, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?

“ Do you think that I like to see wicked people die? says the Sovereign Lord. Of course not! I want them to turn from their wicked ways and live.

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.“ Instead, don’t I take pleasure when he turns from his ways and lives?

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked,” declares the Lord God,“ rather than that he would turn from his ways and live?

Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord GOD,“ and not that he should turn from his ways and live?

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked? saith the Lord Jehovah; and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” This is the declaration of the Lord God.“ Instead, don’t I take pleasure when he turns from his ways and lives?

Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD:[ and] not that he should return from his ways, and live?

Do I actually delight in the death of the wicked, declares the sovereign LORD? Do I not prefer that he turn from his wicked conduct and live?

Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?” says the Lord Yahweh;“ and not rather that he should return from his way, and live?

主耶和華說，『我斷不喜歡任何人死亡，你們要悔改，以便存活。』」

你要告訴他們，主耶和華說，「我憑我的永恆起誓，我絕不喜歡惡人死亡，我更願意惡人改邪歸正，得以存活。以色列人啊，回頭吧！回頭吧！改邪歸正吧！何必自取滅亡呢？」』

主的應許還未實現，有人以為祂拖延，其實祂不是拖延，而是在寬容你們。祂不願任何人滅亡，願意人人悔改。

因為祂願全人類都得救，明白真理。

而是敬畏祂、仰望祂慈愛的人。

有何神明像你一樣赦免罪惡，饒恕你倖存子民的過犯？你不會永遠發怒，因為你樂於施恩。

我告訴你們，同樣，一個罪人悔改，上帝的眾天使也會這樣為他歡喜。」

可是你弟弟是死而復活、失而復得的，所以我們應該歡喜快樂。』」

「父親卻對奴僕說，『趕快拿最好的袍子來給他穿上，給他戴上戒指，穿上鞋，把那隻肥牛犢牽來宰了，讓我們一同歡宴慶祝！因我這兒子是死而復活、失而復得的。』於是他們歡宴慶祝。

「如果你們有人有一百隻羊，走失了一隻，難道他不暫時把那九十九隻留在草場上，去找那隻迷失的羊，一直到找著為止嗎？他找到後，會歡歡喜喜地把那隻羊扛回家，並邀來朋友鄰居，說，『我走失的羊找到了，來和我一同慶祝吧！』我告訴你們，同樣，一個罪人悔改，在天上也要這樣為他歡喜，甚至比有九十九個不用悔改的義人還歡喜。

耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：「我是耶和華，我是耶和華，是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實，向千萬人彰顯慈愛，赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。」

以法蓮啊，我怎能捨棄你？以色列啊，我怎能棄絕你？我怎能使你的下場如押瑪？我怎能對待你如對待洗扁？我的心意改變，我滿懷憐愛。

他會當眾歌唱說，『我犯了罪，顛倒是非，祂卻沒有按我的罪報應我。祂救贖我的靈魂，使之免下深坑，使我的生命得見光明。』

因為不憐憫人的會受到無情的審判，但憐憫勝過審判。

耶和華說：「以法蓮不是我的愛子嗎？他不是我喜悅的孩子嗎？我雖然常常責備他，但仍然惦記著他。我深深地想念他，我必憐憫他。

祂不願使人憂傷、痛苦。
