I will spread my net for him, and he will be caught in my snare. I will bring him to Babylon and execute judgment on him there because he was unfaithful to me.

主耶和華如此說：許多民族聚集時，我要將我的網撒在你身上，他們要把你拉上來。

你還說：『我無辜；耶和華的怒氣必定轉離我了。』看哪，我必審問你；因你自己說：『我沒有犯罪。』

我要用瘟疫和血懲罰他。我也必降暴雨、大冰雹、火及硫磺在他和他的軍隊，並跟隨他的許多民族身上。

迦勒底的軍隊追趕他們，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，將他逮住，帶到哈馬地的利比拉、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒那裏；尼布甲尼撒就判他的罪。在利比拉，巴比倫王在西底家眼前殺了他的兒女；巴比倫王又殺了猶大所有的貴族，並且挖了西底家的眼睛，用銅鏈鎖住他，要帶到巴比倫去。

「看哪，就像獅子從約旦河邊的叢林上來，攻擊堅固的居所，我要在轉眼之間使迦勒底人逃跑，離開這地。我揀選誰，就派誰治理這地。誰能像我呢？誰能召我出庭呢？有哪一個牧人能在我面前站得住呢？

那五個王逃跑，躲在瑪基大洞裏。有人告訴約書亞說：「那五個王已經找到了，都躲在瑪基大洞裏。」約書亞說：「你們把幾塊大石頭滾到洞口，派人在那裏看守他們。

所以耶和華使亞述王的將領來攻擊他們，用手銬銬住瑪拿西，用銅鏈鎖住他，把他帶到巴比倫去。

押沙龍剛好遇見了大衛的臣僕。押沙龍騎着騾子，從大橡樹密枝底下經過，他的頭被橡樹夾住，懸掛在空中，所騎的騾子就離他去了。

要跟你們的母親理論，理論，－因為她不是我的妻子，我也不是她的丈夫－叫她除掉臉上的淫相和胸間的淫態，

你如獅子昂首追捕我，又在我身上顯出奇事。

他們去的時候，我要把我的網撒在他們身上；我要捕獲他們如同空中的鳥。我必按他們會眾所聽到的懲罰他們。

「我因此必與你們爭辯，也與你們的子孫爭辯。這是耶和華說的。

山嶺啊，要聽耶和華的指控！大地永久的根基啊，要聽！因耶和華控告他的百姓，與以色列爭辯。

如同羅網一樣，因為那日子要臨到所有居住在地面上的人。

耶和華的受膏者是我們鼻中的氣，被抓到他們的坑裏，論到他，我們曾說：「我們必在他蔭下，在列國中存活。」

他從高處降火進入我的骨頭，剋制了我；他張開網，絆我的腳，使我退後，又令我終日淒涼發昏。

人不知道自己的定期。魚被險惡的網圈住，鳥被羅網捉住，禍患的時刻忽然臨到，世人陷在其中也是如此。
