亞伯蘭九十九歲時、主顯現於亞伯蘭諭之曰、我乃全能之天主、爾當奉事我、為全備之人、

耶穌曰、我誠告爾、未有亞伯拉罕、我已在矣、

天主謂摩西曰、我自有永有者、又曰、爾當告以色列人曰、自有者、遣我就爾、

雅各謂約瑟曰、昔在迦南地之路斯、全能天主、向我顯現、許福於我、

約翰書達亞西亞七教會、願爾曹由昔在今在後在者、與其寶座前之七神、

天主又諭之曰、我乃全能之天主、使爾生育眾多、爾後裔必成一族、以至群族、列王皆由爾出、

主顯現於亞伯蘭曰、我將以此地賜爾後裔、亞伯蘭在彼為顯現之主建祭臺、由彼遷於山、即在伯特利東、以張其幕、西有伯特利、東有艾、在彼又為主建祭臺而籲主名、

救贖以色列之主、即以色列之君萬有之主如是云、我乃先者、我乃後者、我之外別無天主、

主曰、今我民無故被擄、轄之者、喜樂陶陶、我名終日恆被褻瀆、我在此徒處何為、故當是日、我民必識我名、必知應許者、乃我也、我在此矣、○

亞伯蘭遂徙至希伯崙之幔利橡樹、張幕而居、在彼為主建祭臺、

我乃主、此我名也、必不容他神奪我之榮光、不容偶像得我所當得之頌美、

願全能之天主賜福於爾、使爾蕃衍昌熾、為多族之祖、

亞伯拉罕稱其地、曰耶和華亦列、至今尚有人云、於主之山可見、
