我於爾中寄居為旅、請在此以片地予我、以為塋地、可葬我當前之死者、

我與爾立約、使爾為多族之祖、

是時天主未嘗在此地賜之以業、即立足之地、亦未賜之、惟許以此地賜彼及其子孫為業、時亞伯拉罕尚未有子也、

生於爾家者、或以銀購者、皆當受割禮、如是、我約必立於爾身、以為永約、

爾其傾耳就我而聽、則可得生、則可得生或作爾心則可蘇醒我與爾立永約、以所許大衛之恆恩恆恩或作實惠賜爾、

我與爾立約、爾率妻子與子婦、悉登舟、

主諭亞伯蘭曰、爾當知爾後裔必旅於異邦、異邦人役之苦之、歷四百年、
