“要用精金做一个灯台。灯台的座和干与杯、球、花，都要接连一块锤出来。灯台两旁要杈出六个枝子：这旁三个，那旁三个。这旁每枝上有三个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花；那旁每枝上也有三个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花。从灯台杈出来的六个枝子都是如此。灯台上有四个杯，形状像杏花，有球，有花。灯台每两个枝子以下有球与枝子接连一块。灯台出的六个枝子都是如此。球和枝子要接连一块，都是一块精金锤出来的。要做灯台的七个灯盏。祭司要点这灯，使灯光对照。灯台的蜡剪和蜡花盘也是要精金的。做灯台和这一切的器具要用精金一他连得。

因为有预备的帐幕，头一层叫作圣所，里面有灯台、桌子，和陈设饼。

生命在他里头，这生命就是人的光。光照在黑暗里，黑暗却不接受光。有一个人，是从神那里差来的，名叫约翰。这人来，为要作见证，就是为光作见证，叫众人因他可以信。他不是那光，乃是要为光作见证。那光是真光，照亮一切生在世上的人。

金灯台和金灯的分量，银灯台和银灯的分量，轻重各都合宜；

每日早晚向耶和华献燔祭，烧美香，又在精金的桌子上摆陈设饼；又有金灯台和灯盏，每晚点起，因为我们遵守耶和华我们神的命；惟有你们离弃了他。

我又问天使说：“这灯台左右的两棵橄榄树是什么意思？”

他要在耶和华面前常收拾精金灯台上的灯。”

使你们无可指摘，诚实无伪，在这弯曲悖谬的世代作神无瑕疵的儿女。你们显在这世代中，好像明光照耀，

又把灯台安在会幕内，在帐幕南边，与桌子相对，在耶和华面前点灯，是照耶和华所吩咐他的。

他问我说：“你看见了什么？”我说：“我看见了一个纯金的灯台，顶上有灯盏，灯台上有七盏灯，每盏有七个管子。

人点灯，不放在斗底下，是放在灯台上，就照亮一家的人。

我转过身来，要看是谁发声与我说话；既转过来，就看见七个金灯台。灯台中间有一位好像人子，身穿长衣，直垂到脚，胸间束着金带。他的头与发皆白，如白羊毛，如雪；眼目如同火焰；脚好像在炉中锻炼光明的铜；声音如同众水的声音。他右手拿着七星，从他口中出来一把两刃的利剑；面貌如同烈日放光。我一看见，就仆倒在他脚前，像死了一样。他用右手按着我，说：“不要惧怕！我是首先的，我是末后的，又是那存活的；我曾死过，现在又活了，直活到永永远远；并且拿着死亡和阴间的钥匙。所以你要把所看见的，和现在的事，并将来必成的事，都写出来。论到你所看见、在我右手中的七星和七个金灯台的奥秘，那七星就是七个教会的使者，七灯台就是七个教会。”“你要写信给以弗所教会的使者说，那右手拿着七星，在七个金灯台中间行走的，说：我知道你的行为、劳碌、忍耐，也知道你不能容忍恶人。你也曾试验那自称为使徒却不是使徒的，看出他们是假的来。你也能忍耐，曾为我的名劳苦，并不乏倦。然而有一件事我要责备你，就是你把起初的爱心离弃了。所以，应当回想你是从哪里坠落的，并要悔改，行起初所行的事。你若不悔改，我就临到你那里，把你的灯台从原处挪去。
