爾上帝耶和華之名勿妄稱、妄稱者罪無赦。

毋妄稱爾天主耶和華之名、因妄稱耶和華名者、耶和華必不以之為無罪、必不以之為無罪或作斷無不罰

“ You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

“ Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will find guilty anyone who misuses his name.

“ You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes his name in vain.

“ You must not misuse the name of the Lord your God. The Lord will not let you go unpunished if you misuse his name.

Do not misuse the name of the LORD your God, because the LORD will not leave anyone unpunished who misuses his name.

“ You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.

“ You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Thou shalt not take the name of Jehovah thy God in vain; for Jehovah will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Do not misuse the name of the Lord your God, because the Lord will not leave anyone unpunished who misuses His name.

指我而誓勿妄、勿瀆爾上帝之名、我耶和華所命如此。

爾上帝耶和華之名、勿妄稱、妄稱者罪無赦。

兄弟切勿誓、勿指天地而誓、勿指萬物而誓、惟出言是是否否、斯可已、不然、恐陷於罪、

爾指予而發誓、言必實踐、行必秉公、異邦人亦祈禱予、頌美予焉。

又聞古者有言、毋背誓願、指主而誓願者、必守之、惟我語汝、概勿誓、勿指天而誓、天乃上帝座也、勿指地而誓、地乃其足凳也、勿指耶路撒冷而誓、耶路撒冷乃大君之京師也、勿指首而誓、首之一髮、不能自為黑白也、顧爾之言、惟是是否否、過此則由惡起也、○

凡人之誓、必指大於己者、誓所以堅其信、而違言息矣、上帝欲使將得福之人、知其旨不易、故實之以誓、

我今待爾以仁慈、請爾指耶和華而誓、亦以仁慈待我全家、示我以真實之印誌。

二人曰、爾既用絳索以縋我、必以此索、仍繫於牖、集爾父母兄弟戚屬、至於斯室、厥後我儕至斯土、則爾使我所發之誓、我必恪守。

耶穌默然、祭司長曰、當永生上帝前、我令爾誓而告我、爾果上帝子基督否、耶穌曰、爾言之矣、吾語汝、此後、爾將見人子坐大權者之右、乘天雲而來、

我乃至尊之上帝、爾當獻祭、惟謝我恩、以償厥願兮、患難之際、禱告於我、我爾援、爾我頌兮、上帝語惡人曰、爾何假我律例、藉予聖教、

既與盟約必存其生、否則干上帝之怒。

爾瞽而相者、其有禍乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿內之金而誓、則當償之、爾愚且瞽、金與殿、孰大乎、亦金以殿聖耳、爾又曰、人指壇而誓、則無事、惟指壇上禮物而誓、則當償之、爾愚且瞽、禮物與壇、孰大乎、禮物以壇聖耳、故指壇而誓、是指壇及在其上者而誓也、指殿而誓、是指殿及居其內者而誓也、指天而誓、是指上帝座、及坐其上者而誓也、○

爾當寅畏爾上帝耶和華而奉事之、恆從其道、惟指其名而發誓。

恐富而侈、不崇事耶和華、或貧而盜、妄發誓言。

我籲上帝鑒吾心、為不爾責、故不至哥林多、

大闢在位之時年饑、歷三載、大闢諮諏於耶和華。耶和華曰、緣掃羅及其全家、殘忍是行嘗殺基遍人。初基遍人不屬以色列族、乃亞摩哩族遺民。以色列族與之盟約、掃羅為以色列猶大二族熱中而殺之、至是大闢召基遍人、

惟爾有智、知所當為、必視示每若負罪戾、使其皓然白首、流血歸墓。
