到了第三天早晨，山上雷電大作，烏雲密佈，又有嘹亮的號角聲，營中的百姓都膽戰心驚。

「耶和華從西奈山來，在西珥山向我們顯現，祂從巴蘭山發出光輝；祂帶著千萬聖者來臨，祂右邊有閃耀的光芒。

耶和華在雲中降臨和摩西一同站在那裡，宣告祂的名——耶和華。

我下來是要從埃及人手中救他們，帶他們離開那裡，到一個遼闊肥沃的奶蜜之鄉，就是現在迦南人、赫人、亞摩利人、比利洗人、希未人和耶布斯人居住的地方。

除了從天上降下來的人子以外，沒有人到過天上。

因為我從天上下來，不是要成就自己的旨意，而是要成就差我來者的旨意。

願你裂天而降！願群山在你面前戰抖！求你使敵人認識你的威名，使列國在你面前顫抖，如火燒乾柴使水沸騰。

因為耶和華在火中降臨到西奈山，整座山都冒著濃煙，滾滾上騰，好像一個大火窯，整座山都震動起來。

耶和華啊，求你打開天門，親自降臨；求你觸摸群山，使群山冒煙。

耶和華降臨在西奈山頂，召摩西到山頂，摩西就上去了。

祂撥開雲天，腳踩密雲，親自降臨。

上帝從提幔來，聖者從巴蘭山來。（細拉）祂的榮耀遮蔽諸天，頌讚祂的聲音響徹大地。祂的榮光猶如太陽的光輝，祂的手射出光芒，其中蘊藏著大能。瘟疫行在祂前面，災病跟在祂腳後。祂停下，大地就震動；祂觀看，萬民就戰慄。古老的山嶽崩裂，遠古的丘陵塌陷，但祂的作為永遠不變。

我要在那裡降臨，對你說話，把降在你身上的靈也賜給他們，讓他們為你分擔管理民眾的責任，免得你獨自承擔。
