Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them,‘ Be careful that you do not approach the mountain or touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain is to be put to death.

因為他們承擔不了所領受的命令：「即便是動物靠近這山，也要用石頭打死牠！」那情景實在可怕，就連摩西也說：「我嚇得發抖。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你下去囑咐百姓不可闖過界線到我這裡觀看，以免很多人死亡。

這樣，你們就會知道路，因為你們從來沒有走過這條路。但你們要跟約櫃保持九百米的距離，不要走近約櫃。」

你告訴眾人，你們將經過西珥，那裡住著你們的親屬以掃的子孫。他們懼怕你們，所以要格外謹慎，

法老對摩西說：「給我滾出去！不要再讓我見到你，因為你再見我面之日必死。」

你要謹慎，到了目的地後，不可與當地的居民立約，免得因此而陷入網羅。

摩西對耶和華說：「百姓不能上西奈山，因為你已經吩咐我們要在山的四圍劃定界限，使這山成為聖山。」

「要謹慎、小心，不可忘記親眼所見的事，要一生銘記在心，並且告訴子子孫孫。
