难道你忘记了创造你、铺展穹苍、奠立大地根基的耶和华吗？难道因为试图毁灭你的欺压者大发怒气，你就整天惊恐不安吗？他们的怒气如今在哪里呢？

“大海从母胎奔腾而出时，谁为它划定界限？是我为大海披上云彩，为它裹上厚厚的幽暗。是我为它划定界限，并安上门和闩，说，‘你到此为止，不可越界；你狂傲的波涛要停在这里。’

难道不是你使海洋和深渊干涸，在海中开出道路让蒙救赎的人穿过的吗？

你的道路穿越海洋，经过洪涛，但你的足迹无人看见。你借着摩西和亚伦的手引领你的子民，如同牧人引领羊群。

祂领出自己的子民，好像领出羊群，引领他们经过旷野，使他们一路平安，免受惊吓，大海却淹没了他们的仇敌。

你穿越洪涛，我必与你同在；你渡过江河，必不会被水淹没；你在火中走过，必不会被烧伤，火焰不会烧到你身上。

用荣耀的臂膀扶持摩西，在他们面前把海水分开，使自己威名永存的那位在哪里？带领他们经过大海，犹如马行平川不会失脚的那位在哪里？

往下流的水立即止住了，在很远的撒拉但附近的亚当城那里涨成一道水墙。流入亚拉巴海，即盐海的水被完全截断了，民众便走到对面的耶利哥。
