There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven:

For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will reward each according to what he has done.

before the LORD, for he is coming to judge the earth. He will judge the world righteously and the peoples fairly.

Rejoice, young person, while you are young, and let your heart be glad in the days of your youth. And walk in the ways of your heart and in the desire of your eyes; but know that for all of these things God will bring you to judgment.

since it is just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict youand to give relief to you who are afflicted, along with us. This will take place at the revelation of the Lord Jesus from heaven with his powerful angels,when he takes vengeance with flaming fire on those who don’t know God and on those who don’t obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will pay the penalty of eternal destruction from the Lord’s presence and from his glorious strengthon that day when he comes to be glorified by his saints and to be marveled at by all those who have believed, because our testimony among you was believed.

You could not possibly do such a thing: to kill the righteous with the wicked, treating the righteous and the wicked alike. You could not possibly do that! Won’t the Judge of the whole earth do what is just?”

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.He will repay each one according to his works:eternal life to those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality;but wrath and anger to those who are self-seeking and disobey the truth while obeying unrighteousness.There will be affliction and distress for every human being who does evil, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek;but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does what is good, first to the Jew, and also to the Greek.

Then I saw a great white throne and one seated on it. Earth and heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.I also saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life, and the dead were judged according to their works by what was written in the books.Then the sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them; each one was judged according to their works.Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.And anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire.

By the same word, the present heavens and earth are stored up for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.Dear friends, don’t overlook this one fact: With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.

He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.

For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son to have life in himself.And he has granted him the right to pass judgment, because he is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear his voiceand come out— those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of condemnation.

“ But you, Daniel, keep these words secret and seal the book until the time of the end. Many will roam about, and knowledge will increase.”

But exclude the courtyard outside the temple. Don’t measure it, because it is given to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months.I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.”

I said to myself,“ Go ahead, I will test you with pleasure; enjoy what is good.” But it turned out to be futile.

because he has set a day when he is going to judge the world in righteousness by the man he has appointed. He has provided proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

For this is what the LORD says:“ When seventy years for Babylon are complete, I will attend to you and will confirm my promise concerning you to restore you to this place.For I know the plans I have for you”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ plans for your well-being, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

He said to them,“ It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by his own authority.

About the times and the seasons: Brothers and sisters, you do not need anything to be written to you.

The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,

The nations were angry, but your wrath has come. The time has come for the dead to be judged and to give the reward to your servants the prophets, to the saints, and to those who fear your name, both small and great, and the time has come to destroy those who destroy the earth.

The ten horns you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they will receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast.These will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will conquer them because he is Lord of lords and King of kings. Those with him are called, chosen, and faithful.”He also said to me,“ The waters you saw, where the prostitute was seated, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.The ten horns you saw, and the beast, will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, devour her flesh, and burn her up with fire.For God has put it into their hearts to carry out his plan by having one purpose and to give their kingdom to the beast until the words of God are fulfilled.

“ At the time of the end, the king of the South will engage him in battle, but the king of the North will storm against him with chariots, horsemen, and many ships. He will invade countries and sweep through them like a flood.

When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prisonand will go out to deceive the nations at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle. Their number is like the sand of the sea.They came up across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the encampment of the saints, the beloved city. Then fire came down from heaven and consumed them.

So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.

From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.Happy is the one who waits for and reaches 1,335 days.But as for you, go on your way to the end; you will rest, and then you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance at the end of the days.”

He said,“ Go on your way, Daniel, for the words are secret and sealed until the time of the end.

For every activity there is a right time and procedure, even though a person’s troubles are heavy on him.
