You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth. Follow the ways of your heart and whatever your eyes see, but know that for all these things God will bring you into judgment.

You young people, be happy while you are still young. Let your heart be joyful while you are still strong. Do what your heart tells you to do. Go after what your eyes look at. But I want you to know that God will judge you for everything you do.

Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.

我自思曰、善惡自有天主審鞫、惟凡事諸工、在天主前俱有定期、

一切所為、及一切隱秘之事、或善或惡、悉為天主所鞫、

人自幼負軛、斯亦為善、

勿愛斯世及斯世之物、人若愛斯世、則愛父之愛、不在其內、蓋凡在世、如肉體之慾、眼目之慾、及一生一生或作富有之驕奢、皆非由父、乃由世也、

神子見世人之女美麗、乃隨意選擇、娶以為妻、

爾在幼時、患難之日未來、爾所不悅之年未至、當及時記憶造爾之主、

按定命、人一次而死、死後有審判、

如我步履離乎正道、心隨我目、手有污穢、

蓋我眾皆必立於基督臺前、使各人循己身所為、或善或惡而受報、

無論為土著、為外邦客旅、若敢故犯、即褻瀆主、其人必滅絕於民中、

爾何擬議爾兄弟、何藐視爾兄弟、我儕皆必將立於基督基督有抄本作天主臺前、

不禁我目欲所欲者、不禁我心樂所樂者、蓋我思我既勞碌操作、我心享樂、宜也、此我由我一切勞碌所獲之分、

亭午、以利亞戲之曰、可大聲而呼、彼實乃神、或凝思默想、或深入密室、或行路、抑或寢臥、爾必必或作當使之醒、

天主在先世、聽萬民各從其道、

往時世人蒙昧、天主不究、今乃命眾隨在悔改、蓋天主已定一日、欲藉所立之人、按公義審判天下、且使其由死復活、而賜萬民以可信之證、○

我從異邦人之意、邪侈、縱慾、放飲、饕餮、沈湎、更行拜偶像可憎之事、往時如是已足矣、彼見爾不與之同淫佚放蕩、則異而謗爾、

故時未至、爾勿擬議人、迨主降臨、彼將光照幽暗之隱事、且明顯中心之計謀、其時各由天主、必得所宜之褒獎、

我於奪獲貨財中、見自示拿來之美服一襲、銀二百舍客勒、約一百兩金一錠重五十舍客勒、約二十五兩我貪而取之、今物在我幕中藏於地、銀在衣下、
