惟當自慎、謹守爾心、恐遺忘爾目所見之事、恐爾生存之日、一時此事離於爾心、當以之教爾子孫、昔爾在何烈、立於主爾天主前之日、主諭我曰、為我集民、使聽我言、俾生存於世之時學習敬畏我、又教子孫亦如是、或作學習敬畏我至於終身亦以教子

凡穢言勿出爾口、言必善以建德、使聽者獲益、

必不隱其子孫、必將主之榮耀權能、並主所行之奇跡、傳於後世、主立法於雅各、定律於以色列、命我列祖傳示子孫、使後世知曉、子又傳子、孫又傳孫、

他日、爾子若相問曰、行此何為、爾則告之曰、因主以大能導我出為奴之伊及、法老剛愎、不釋我儕、主以伊及國凡一切首生者、自首生之人、至首生之畜、皆殺之、故我以首生之牡畜祭主、惟初胎之男子則贖之、

善人由心所積之善發善、惡人由心所積之惡發惡、蓋充諸心者言諸口也、

心中當尊主天主為聖、爾心所懷之望、有人以其故詰爾、爾當預備、可溫和畏懼以答之、

善人之口、教養人多、愚者因無知而死、
