我警戒凡聞此書預言之人、此預言如有加增之者、天主必以此書所錄諸災、加於其身、此書之預言、如有刪除之者、天主必由生命册、刪除其名、不許其居於聖城、使之不得享此書所錄之福、○

惟當強爾心、壯爾志、謹守遵行、我僕摩西所命爾之全律法、不偏於左、不偏於右、使爾無論何為、何為原文作何往無不明哲、或作無不利達

兄弟乎、我且按人之恆情言之、人之約書既定、則莫能廢之增之、

我誠告爾、天地未廢、律法之一點一畫不能廢、皆必成焉、

事之大要、我儕俱當聽之、即敬畏天主、守其誡命、此為人之大端、

爾門徒何犯古人遺傳、食時不盥手乎、答曰、爾何因爾遺傳犯天主之誡乎、天主誡云、敬爾父母、又云、詈父母者必治之死、惟爾曰、若人對父母云、爾所當得於我者、已獻為禮物、遂可不敬父母、是爾以爾遺傳而廢天主之誡矣、偽善者乎、先知以賽亞預言指爾者誠是、其言云、斯民以口敬我、以唇尊我、其心則遠我、彼以人所命者、為教而訓人、故徒然奉事我云、

有法利賽人及數經士、自耶路撒冷來、集就耶穌、見其門徒中有人、不潔手、即未盥手而食、遂責之、蓋法利賽人、及眾猶太人、執古人遺傳、不精盥其手或作不盥手至肘則不食、又自市歸、不洗、亦不食、更有多端、如洗滌杯樽銅器及床、彼受而守之、於是法利賽人及經士問耶穌曰、爾門徒何不遵古人遺傳、手未盥即食乎、耶穌答曰、以賽亞預言指爾偽善者誠是、如所載云、斯民以口敬我、心則遠我、彼以人所命者為教而訓人、故徒然奉事我也、爾曹棄天主之誡、而執人之遺傳、如洗杯樽等物、類此者爾多行之、又謂之曰、爾誠廢天主之誡、為欲守爾之遺傳、摩西曰、敬爾父母、又曰、詈父母者、必治之死、惟爾則曰、人若對父母云、我所當奉爾者、已作歌珥班、譯即已獻天主為禮物、爾遂不許其再奉事父母、是爾曹以所受之遺傳、廢天主道、且爾多行類此之事、
