He declared to you his covenant, the Ten Commandments, which he commanded you to follow and then wrote them on two stone tablets.

當時我登山受其石板、即主與爾立約之板、居山四十晝夜、不食餠、不飲水、主賜我二石板、板上有言、天主親手所書、即爾曹大會之日、主在山上由火中所諭爾之諸言、或作主賜我二石板乃天主親手所書板上所載即爾曹大會之日主在山上由火中所諭爾之諸言四十晝夜後、主以二石板、即盟約之板賜我、

當時主諭我曰、爾琢二石板、當如前式、登山至我前、亦作木匱、前之石板、爾碎之、我以彼板之言、書於此板上、當藏之於匱、於是我以什停木作匱、琢石板二、與前者無異、手執二石板登山、爾曹大會之日、主在山上火中所諭爾之十誡、循其前式、書於板上、賜之於我、我轉而下山、藏板於所作之匱、今仍在彼、遵主所命我者、○

今爾若聽從我言、遵守我約、普天下雖皆屬我、我必於萬國中、特選爾為我民、特選爾為我民或作以爾為寶

主之榮光在山巔、狀如烈火、在以色列人目前、摩西入雲登山、摩西在山、歷四十晝夜、

有焚香之金臺、金臺或作金鑪有約匱、四面飾以金者、匱內有盛瑪拿之金壺、亞倫萌芽之杖、及刻約之石版二、

摩西召以色列眾告之曰、我今所傳於爾之律例法度、爾當聽之、學習謹守而遵行、主我之天主在何烈與我儕立約、此約主非與我祖立之、乃與我儕在此之人今日尚存者立之、主在山上、由火中面諭爾、當時我立在主及爾曹間、以主言告爾、蓋爾曹懼火、不敢登山、主云、我乃耶和華爾之天主、曾導爾出伊及爾為奴之地、我之外、毋敬別神、原文作毋於我前有別神或作毋敬別神以配我毋為己作偶像、上天下地、與地下水中百物、毋作其像、毋跪拜、毋崇事、蓋我耶和華爾之天主、乃忌邪之天主、或作不容人崇奉別神惡我者、我必討其罪、以及子孫、至三四代、愛我者、守我誡者、我賜之恩、至千代、毋妄稱爾天主耶和華之名、因妄稱耶和華名者、耶和華必不以之為無罪、或作斷無不罰當守安息日以為聖日、遵爾天主耶和華所命爾者、六日間可勤勞作爾諸工、第七日為爾天主耶和華之安息日、是日爾與子女奴婢及牛驢諸牲畜、並居爾邑之外邦客旅、無論何工、皆不可作、使爾奴婢安息、與爾無異、當追憶昔爾在伊及為奴、爾天主耶和華以大力大威導爾出、緣此爾天主耶和華命爾守安息日、遵爾天主耶和華所命、敬爾父母、使爾可久居享福於爾天主耶和華所賜爾之地、毋殺人、毋姦淫、毋偷竊、毋妄證以陷人、毋貪人之妻、毋貪人之宅、與田畝奴婢牛驢、及其凡所有者、

當日摩西遵律法傳諸誡於民、乃取牛羊之血和水、以絳線與牛膝草、灑於其書及民眾、曰、天主與爾立約、以此血為據、原文作此乃天主所命爾之約之血

昔摩西之面有榮、其榮雖暫而將廢、以色列人不能注目觀之、致死之儀文、鐫於石版者、其役尚有此榮、
