These[ are] the words of the covenant, which the LORD commanded Moses to make with the children of Israel in the land of Moab, beside the covenant which he made with them in Horeb.

And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.And Moses took half of the blood, and put[ it] in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled[ it] on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day[ that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:

Hear ye the words of this covenant, and speak unto the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindreds of the earth be blessed.

[ Specially] the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb, when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the earth, and[ that] they may teach their children.

Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God, which he made with you, and make you a graven image,[ or] the likeness of any[ thing], which the LORD thy God hath forbidden thee.

And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform,[ even] ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone.
