人娶妻後、知妻有疵、而厭棄之、則作離書、付於其手、出之可也。

“人若娶妻以后，见她有什么不合理的事，不喜悦她，就可以写休书交在她手中，打发她离开夫家。

“人若娶妻，作了她的丈夫，发现她有不合宜的事不喜欢她，而写休书交在她手中，打发她离开夫家，

If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce, gives it to her and sends her from his house,

Suppose a man marries a woman. But later he decides he doesn’t like her. He finds something shameful about her. So he gives her a letter of divorce and sends her away from his house.

“ When a man takes a wife and marries her, if then she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some indecency in her, and he writes her a certificate of divorce and puts it in her hand and sends her out of his house, and she departs out of his house,

曰、然則摩西命予離書出之、何也、曰、摩西以爾心忍、容爾出妻、但元始不然、吾語汝、非以姦故、出妻而他娶者、淫行也、娶所出之妻者、亦淫行也、○

使攜女以歸、畢生不休、罰金五十、以予女之父、因委惡名於以色列族之處女故也。

有人娶妻、既同寢而見憎、

以色列族既背我、狥欲而行、我棄之、與以離書、其姊妹猶大族、屢欺侮予、毫無畏葸、狥欲而行、我鑒察之、彼狥欲特甚、崇拜木石、污衊斯邦、厥後佯為歸誠、心不誠慤。○

倘別有所娶、則待此女好合無間、衣食無減。

耶和華告以色列族曰、爾母見出、必有離書、離書云何、爾身見鬻、必有所償、所償伊誰、爾母見出、爾身見鬻、乃罪應爾。

則必以金二十五、予女之父、既辱是女、必娶以歸、畢生不休。

曰、摩西許以離書出之、耶穌曰、摩西以爾心忍、故有斯命、而原造物之始、上帝造茲男女、以故人離父母、膠漆其妻、成為一體、由是觀之、終不為二、乃一體矣、且上帝所耦者、人不可分之也、○耶穌在室、門徒復問、耶穌曰、凡棄妻他娶者、是淫行也、妻棄夫他適者、亦淫行也、○

如其後夫亦不見悅、作離書付於其手而出之、或其後夫死亡。

若離之、則無他從、仍與夫和、夫亦不可去婦、更有說焉、非主命、第余言耳、如兄弟有婦不信主、彼喜同居、則勿去之、

萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、人棄其妻、待以強暴、我所不悅、故當自守其心、勿遺棄之、

其夫約瑟、義人也、不欲顯辱之、而欲私休之、

又言、若人出妻、則以離書與之、惟我語汝、非姦故而出妻、是使之有淫行也、娶所出之妻者、亦行淫也、○

凡出妻他娶者、淫行也、娶所出者、亦淫行也、○

人有二妻、一見愛、一被惡、各育後嗣、而被惡者之子為冢子、
