不過王卻不可為自己加多馬匹，也不可使人民回埃及去、以便加多馬匹，因為永恆主曾對你們說過：「你們永遠不可再回那條路去。」

The king, moreover, must not acquire great numbers of horses for himself or make the people return to Egypt to get more of them, for the Lord has told you,“ You are not to go back that way again.”

The king must not get large numbers of horses for himself. He must not make the people return to Egypt to get more horses. The Lord has told you,“ You must not go back there again.”

Only he must not acquire many horses for himself or cause the people to return to Egypt in order to acquire many horses, since the Lord has said to you,‘ You shall never return that way again.’

“ The king must not build up a large stable of horses for himself or send his people to Egypt to buy horses, for the Lord has told you,‘ You must never return to Egypt.’

However, he must not acquire many horses for himself or send the people back to Egypt to acquire many horses, for the LORD has told you,‘ You are never to go back that way again.’

In any case, he is not to acquire many horses for himself, nor shall he make the people return to Egypt in order to acquire many horses, since the Lord has said to you,‘ You shall never again return that way.’

But he shall not multiply horses for himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt to multiply horses, for the Lord has said to you,‘ You shall not return that way again.’

Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; forasmuch as Jehovah hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

However, he must not acquire many horses for himself or send the people back to Egypt to acquire many horses, for the Lord has told you,‘ You are never to go back that way again.’

But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the LORD hath said unto you, Ye shall henceforth return no more that way.

Moreover, he must not accumulate horses for himself or allow the people to return to Egypt to do so, for the LORD has said you must never again return that way.

Only he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to return to Egypt, to the end that he may multiply horses; because Yahweh has said to you,“ You shall not go back that way again.”

所羅門有四千棚的馬可以套車，還有馬兵一萬二千。

他們必回歸埃及地；亞述必做他們的王；因為他們拒絕回來歸我。

法老讓人民走的時候，非利士地的路雖近，上帝卻不領導他們從那裏走，因為上帝說：『恐怕人民看見戰爭而後悔，就回埃及去。』

永恆主必用船將你送回埃及去，所走的路、是我曾對你說過你永不會再見的；在那裏你必賣身給你的仇敵做奴隸做婢女，卻沒有人買。』

但他卻背叛了巴王，反而差遣使者往埃及去，要他們給他馬匹和許多兵丁。他哪能順利成功呢？行這樣事的人哪能逃脫呢？違反了盟約哪能逃脫呢？

摩西對人民說：『不要懼怕，只管站住，看永恆主今天向你們所要施行的拯救；因為你們今天所看見的埃及人，你們再也永遠看不見了。

大衛擄獲了他的馬兵一千七百，步兵二萬。大衛將拉戰車的馬砍斷蹄筋，卻留下一百輛車的馬沒有砍斷。

他說：『那要管理你們、的王、其制度是這樣：他必取你們的兒子，派他們為他趕車，做他的馬兵，在他的車前奔走。

所羅門有套車馬四千棚，還有馬兵一萬二千；他把這些車馬安置在屯車城和耶路撒冷、跟王同在一處。

所羅門聚集了戰車駿馬：他有戰車一千四百輛，駿馬一萬二千匹；他把這些車馬安置在屯車城和耶路撒冷跟王同在一處。王使銀子在耶路撒冷像石頭一樣，使香柏木像低原上無花果屬桑樹那麼多。所羅門所有的馬是從慕斯利和古厄出口運來的；是王的商人從古厄按價值買得來的。

永恆主為甚麼把我們領到這地來倒斃在刀劍之下呢？我們的妻子和小孩必被擄掠了。我們回埃及去、不更好麼？』他們就彼此說：『我們立個首領，回埃及去吧！』

亞述不能拯救我們，駿馬我們必不再騎上；我們的手所造的我們必不再稱為「我們的上帝」，因為只有在你裏面孤兒得以找到憐憫。

那時哈及的兒子亞多尼雅高抬自己、說：『我要做王』；就為自己豫備車輛、駿馬、和五十個人在他前面奔走。

有禍啊！那些下埃及去求幫助的！他們依靠馬匹，倚賴車輛，因為很多；他們倚賴馬兵，因為馬兵極強壯，他們卻不仰望以色列之聖者，永恆主、他們竟不求問！其實永恆主有智慧，他會降災禍的；他的話他絕不收回，他卻要起來攻擊那作壞事者的家，攻擊那幫助作孽之人的。埃及人不過是人，並不是神；他們的馬不過是血肉，並不是靈；永恆主一伸手，那幫助人的就絆跌，那受幫助的也必跌倒，二者就同歸於盡。

如今你可以和我的主上亞述王交換打賭的當頭：我給你二千匹馬，看你那一方面能派出足夠的人來騎牠不。若不然，你怎能使我主上最小的臣僕之中之一個軍長轉臉而逃呢？你竟倚靠埃及要得戰車和駿馬呀！

有人靠着車，有人靠着馬，但我們卻靠着我們的上帝永恆主的名而剛強

而說：「不，我們要進的是埃及地，在那裏我們不至於聽到戰爭，號角的聲音不至於聽到，糧食也不至於鬧饑荒；就在那裏我們要居住着」，那麼、猶大餘剩之民哪，你們現在就要聽永恆主的話哦。萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：你們若硬着頭皮要進埃及，去寄居在那裏，那麼你們所怕的刀劍就會在埃及地那裏趕上你們；你們所恐懼的饑荒就會緊跟着你們到埃及那裏，使你們死在那裏。
