让你们城中没有土地的利未人、寄居者和孤儿寡妇都可以来吃饱。这样，你们的上帝耶和华必使你们凡事蒙福。

高尚的人计划高尚的事，在高尚的事上持之以恒。

有人乐善好施，反倒越来越富；有人一毛不拔，反而越来越穷。慷慨好施的必得昌盛，恩待他人的必蒙恩待。

我现在样样都有，丰富有余。我从以巴弗提手上收到了你们送给我的礼物，已经充足了。这些馈赠是蒙上帝悦纳的馨香祭物。我的上帝必按照祂在基督耶稣里的荣耀，丰丰富富地赐给你们所需用的一切。

如果你们给饥饿的人食物，扶助困苦的人，你们的光必照亮黑暗，你们的黑夜必变成正午。

你要劝他们多多行善、慷慨施舍、乐意助人。这样，他们可以为自己的将来奠定美好的基础，以便持守真正的生命。

只要你们听从你们上帝耶和华的话，谨遵我今天吩咐你们的诫命，祂必使你们在这片祂赐给你们作产业的土地上蒙福，你们中间不会有穷人。

我凡事以身作则，教导你们勤奋工作，帮助软弱的人，并牢记主耶稣的话，‘施比受更有福。’”

能讲道的，要按着上帝的话去讲；能服侍人的，要本着上帝所赐的力量去服侍。这样，上帝会借着耶稣基督在一切的事上得到荣耀。愿荣耀和权能都归于祂，直到永永远远。阿们！

善待穷人的有福了！耶和华必救他们脱离困境。耶和华必保护他们，救他们的性命，使他们在地上享福，不让仇敌恶谋得逞。

“王会回答说，‘我实在告诉你们，你们帮助我最卑微的一个弟兄，就是帮助我了。’

劝勉的，要诚心劝勉；施舍的，要慷慨施舍；治理的，要殷勤治理；怜悯的，要甘心怜悯。

因此，我认为有必要请那几位弟兄先去你们那里，将你们从前认捐的款项收集妥当，这样就表明你们的捐赠是出于甘心乐意，而不是出于勉强。要记住：“少种的少收，多种的多收。”各人心里想捐多少就捐多少，不要勉强，不要为难。因为捐得甘心乐意的人才是上帝所喜爱的。上帝能够将各样的恩典多多赐给你们，使你们在各方面常常富足有余，可以多行各样的善事。正如圣经上说：“他慷慨施舍、周济穷人，他的仁义永远长存。”赐农夫种子又赐人粮食的上帝，必加倍赐给你们种子，使你们收获更多仁义的果子，叫你们事事丰裕，可以多多施舍。这样，从我们这里得到你们帮助的人便会向上帝献上感恩。
