彼至我所、我懼俯伏於地、彼曰人子宜曉然所見之異象、乃指末日之事、

彼至我立之所、彼來時、我甚懼、面伏於地、彼告我曰、人子、當知此異象、末期必應、末期必應或作乃指末期之事

As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.”

Gabriel came close to where I was standing. I was terrified and fell down flat with my face toward the ground. Here is what he said to me.“ Son of man, I want you to understand the vision. It’s about the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood. And when he came, I was frightened and fell on my face. But he said to me,“ Understand, O son of man, that the vision is for the time of the end.”

As Gabriel approached the place where I was standing, I became so terrified that I fell with my face to the ground.“ Son of man,” he said,“ you must understand that the events you have seen in your vision relate to the time of the end.”

So he approached where I was standing; when he came near, I was terrified and fell facedown.“ Son of man,” he said to me,“ understand that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near to where I was standing, and when he came I was frightened and fell on my face; and he said to me,“ Son of man, understand that the vision pertains to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood, and when he came I was afraid and fell on my face; but he said to me,“ Understand, son of man, that the vision refers to the time of the end.”

So he came near where I stood; and when he came, I was affrighted, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man; for the vision belongeth to the time of the end.

他說：『我要指示你知道上帝震怒之末期所必有的事，因為這是關於末了之定期的。

但你呢、但以理啊，你要把這些話封閉着，把這卷書密封着、到末了時期。而大眾們卻要跑來跑去追求、使知識增長。』

通達人之中有些仆倒的，那是要在其餘的人中間施行鍛鍊磨淨洗白的工夫，直到末了時期，因為到了定期、結局還是來到。『那王必任意而行，自高自大超過所有的神，又說了荒謬怪誕的話來攻擊萬神之神上帝。他倒會亨通順利，直到上帝的震怒發盡；因為鐵定的事必定作成。

我一看見他，就仆倒在他腳前，像個死人。他把右手按着我說：『別怕了；我是首先的，末後的，

『到了末了時期、南方王必跟他牴觸來牴觸去；北方王必用戰車、馬兵、和許多戰船、勢如暴風、來攻擊他；也必進入列國、如大水氾濫，橫流漫過。

因為異象還在等候它的定期；它向着結局喘吁吁地急進，必不令人失望。就使它躭延，你還要等候；因為它一定臨到，必不遲延。』

去你的吧、直到末了；你必得安頓：到了日期的末了、你就得以站立起來、享受你的業分。』

下雨的日子雲中的虹的形狀怎麼樣，周圍光輝的形狀也怎麼樣：這就是永恆主之榮耀的形相。我一看見，就俯伏在地上，隨即聽見一位說話者的聲音。他對我說：『人子啊，你站起來；我要同你說話。』

一個七之內、他必跟許多人堅定盟約；一個七之一半、他必使宰祭和素祭止息；代替這祭獻的必是個可憎者、使聖地荒涼者，直到毁滅之事、鐵定之事、傾倒在那使聖地荒涼者身上為止。』

天使對我說：『你要寫下來：「被請赴羔羊婚筵的有福啊！」』又對我說：『這些話是上帝真實的話。』我俯伏在他腳前要敬拜他；他對我說：『千萬不可！我和你同你的弟兄、那些執守為耶穌作見證之心的、都是同做僕人的；你只要敬拜上帝。』（因為為耶穌作見證的心正是神言傳講之靈）。

忽有一位像人形相的摸觸着我的嘴脣，我便開口說話；我向那站在我面前的說：『大師啊，我因見這景象，猛然傷痛，連力氣都持不住了。

我約翰就是聽見又看見這些事的。我既聽見又看見了，就俯伏在把這些事指給我看的天使腳前，要敬拜他。

亞伯蘭臉伏於地，上帝又告訴他說：

他們一舉目，不見一人，只有耶穌獨在。

有以利亞同摩西現給他們看見；跟耶穌一同談話。彼得大聲對耶穌說：『老師，我們在這裏真好：容我們搭三座棚吧：一座給你，一座給摩西，一座給以利亞。』

這景象、惟有我但以理獨自一人看見，同我在一起的人都沒有看見這景象；然而他們卻大大顫抖，逃跑去藏匿着。只剩下我獨自一人；我見了這大景象，便渾身全無餘力；我的美貌變色，力氣都持不住。

他對我說：『大蒙眷愛的人、但以理啊，你要注意我所對你說的話，只管站起來，因為我現在是奉差遣來找你的。』他跟我說了這話，我便站起來、直哆嗦。

你初懇求的時候、就有神言發出，故此我來告訴你，因為你是大蒙眷愛的；所以你要思想這事，要注意所見的景象。

於時尼布甲尼撒王就臉伏於地，向但以理下拜，並且吩咐人給他奉上供物和悅神的香祭。

『人子啊，你要將臉向着以色列眾山，傳神言攻擊它們

我、我但以理、既見了這異象、就想法子要明白它的意義；忽見有一位形狀像人的站在我面前。
