他從禱告中起來，走到門徒那裏，見他們因憂愁而睡着了，

於是我但以理精疲力竭，病了幾天，然後起來辦理王的事務；我因所見的景象而驚駭，全不明白其中的意義。

如今我站着受審判、是因為指望上帝向我們祖宗所發的應許。

日頭正落的時候，亞伯蘭瞇瞇地沉睡着，忽有一種恐怖、一種大黑暗落在他身上。

在夜間異象之煩想中、世人沉於酣睡時候、

那跟我說話的天使又來叫醒了我，好像人睡覺被喚醒一樣。
