惟留其根於地、在田野青草之間、束以銅鐵之索、濕以天露、俾與野獸共囓地草、

斷枝剩幹、猶留於地、斯樹譬諸斯人、束以銅鐵、委其草萊之間、為夜露所沾濡、使之嚙蒭、無異野獸、

惟其根株仍留於地、以銅索鐵索、繫於田野之草中、為天降之露所濕、與野獸同食以草、

But let the stump and its roots, bound with iron and bronze, remain in the ground, in the grass of the field.“‘ Let him be drenched with the dew of heaven, and let him live with the animals among the plants of the earth.

树木若被砍下，还有希望，它仍可重新萌芽，嫩枝生长不息。虽然树根在土里衰老，树干在地里死去，但一有水气，它就会像新栽的树一样发芽长枝。

我要把被掳的埃及人带回来，使他们回到故土巴特罗，成为一个卑微的国家，在列国中最衰微，再也不能雄居列国之上。我要使埃及国势衰弱，再也不能统治列国。

你必从人群中被赶走，与野兽同住，像牛一样吃草，被天上的露水浸湿，达七年之久，直到你知道至高者主宰世上万国，祂要把国赐给谁就赐给谁。守望者命令留下树丕，表示等到你承认上天掌权后，你将重掌国权。王啊，请接受我的劝谏，你要秉公行义，以断绝罪恶；怜悯穷人，以除掉罪过。这样，你的国运也许可以延续。”
