百官既集、立於像前、將行釁禮、

So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials assembled for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and they stood before it.

So the royal rulers, high officials and governors came together. So did the advisers, treasurers, judges and court officers. All the other officials joined them. They came to honor the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. They stood in front of it.

Then the satraps, the prefects, and the governors, the counselors, the treasurers, the justices, the magistrates, and all the officials of the provinces gathered for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up. And they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So all these officials came and stood before the statue King Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the rulers of the provinces assembled for the dedication of the statue the king had set up. Then they stood before the statue Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the satraps, the prefects and the governors, the counselors, the chief treasurers, the judges, the magistrates, and all the administrators of the provinces were assembled for the dedication of the statue that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

So the satraps, prefects, governors, counselors, treasurers, judges, magistrates, and all the other provincial authorities assembled for the dedication of the statue that King Nebuchadnezzar had erected. They were standing in front of the statue that Nebuchadnezzar had erected.

Then the local governors, the deputies, and the governors, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered together to the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.

因為上帝將念頭放在他們心中，叫他們行他的心意，行一樣的心意，將自己的國給予獸，直到上帝一切的話語都得應驗。

他們一認出他是猶太人，眾人中就發出一樣的聲音、約有兩個鐘頭，喊着說：『偉大呀，以弗所人的亞底米！』書記官叫羣眾安靜了之後，就說：『以弗所人哪，有甚麼人不知道以弗所城是亞底米和天降像的守殿者呢？

沒有曉悟的，沒有尋求上帝的；

因為他們雖然認識上帝，卻不看他為上帝而榮耀他，也不感謝他，反倒在思想上成為虛妄，他們蒙昧的心就昏暗了。他們自稱為有智慧，反而成了愚拙，用那能敗壞的人類、飛鳥、走獸、昆蟲之像的樣式、去代換那不能朽壞的上帝之榮耀。所以在他們心裏的私慾中、上帝就把他們放給污穢、去彼此侮辱自己的身體。這種人用了假去替換上帝之真，敬拜事奉了被創造之物，而不敬奉創造之主：就是應當受祝頌、萬世無窮的。阿們。為這緣故、上帝就把他們放給卑鄙的邪情。不但他們女的把順性的用處變成了逆性的用處；就是他們男的也是這樣，放棄了女的順性的用處；他們彼此間的淫慾、如火焚燒；男的在男的身上作出羞醜的事，就在自己身上得到他們的妄為該有的報應。他們怎樣在認識上帝選擇了「無上帝」，上帝就怎樣把他們放給不上選的心思，去行不該行的事；

牠又行大神迹，甚至在人面前叫火從天上降在地上。因了得權柄而在獸面前能行神迹、牠就迷惑住在地上的人，告訴住在地上的人要為那受刀擊傷還活着的獸造像。牠得了權柄、可以將生氣給獸的像，叫獸的像不但能說話，也能叫所有不拜獸像的人都被殺害。牠叫眾人、小的大的、富的窮的、自主的為奴的，都要給自己弄個印記、或在右手上、或在額上；

但在蒙召的、無論是猶太人、是希利尼人、基督總是上帝能力、上帝的智慧。因為上帝的愚拙、總比人有智慧，上帝的軟弱、總比人強壯。弟兄們，看看你們的蒙召吧：按肉身說、有智慧的並不多，有能力的並不多，屬貴族的並不多。

他們都有同一樣的心意、將自己的能力和權柄給予獸。

上帝站立在神的會中，在諸神中行審判，說：『你們不按公義而審判，只徇惡人的情面，要到幾時呢？（細拉）你們要為受欺壓的人和孤兒伸冤；要向困苦窮乏人顯義氣。要解救貧寒窮困人，援救他們脫離惡人的手。』唉，他們仍不知道，也不明白，只在黑暗中走來走去，以致地的根基都搖動了！我心裏說：『你們倒是神類，倒都是以利約恩的眾子呢！其實你們是會死的，像世人一樣；王子們哪，你們都必一概倒斃。』上帝啊，求你起來、統治大地；因為是你要取得萬國以為業的。
