accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive.

Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Put up with one another. Forgive one another if you are holding something against someone. Forgive, just as the Lord forgave you.

For judgment is without mercy to the one who hasn’t shown mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.

“ For if you forgive people their wrongdoing, your heavenly Father will forgive you as well.But if you don’t forgive people, your Father will not forgive your wrongdoing.

Now we who are strong have an obligation to bear the weaknesses of those without strength, and not to please ourselves.Each one of us must please his neighbor for his good, to build him up.

Be on your guard. If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and comes back to you seven times, saying,‘ I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

But love your enemies, do what is good, and lend, expecting nothing in return. Then your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High. For He is gracious to the ungrateful and evil.Be merciful, just as your Father also is merciful.“ Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

Then Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided His clothes and cast lots.

by purity, by knowledge, by patience, by kindness, by the Holy Spirit, by sincere love,

Carry one another’s burdens; in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

And forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone in debt to us. And do not bring us into temptation.”

Therefore accept one another, just as the Messiah also accepted you, to the glory of God.

But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

If you forgive anyone, I do too. For what I have forgiven— if I have forgiven anything— it is for you in the presence of Christ.

Seeing their faith He said,“ Friend, your sins are forgiven you.”Then the scribes and the Pharisees began to think:“ Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?”But perceiving their thoughts, Jesus replied to them,“ Why are you thinking this in your hearts?Which is easier: to say,‘ Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say,‘ Get up and walk’?But so you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”— He told the paralyzed man,“ I tell you: Get up, pick up your mat, and go home.”

Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

For you were called to this, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you should follow in His steps.

And walk in love, as the Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

“ If your brother sins against you, go and rebuke him in private. If he listens to you, you have won your brother.But if he won’t listen, take one or two more with you, so that by the testimony of two or three witnesses every fact may be established.If he pays no attention to them, tell the church. But if he doesn’t pay attention even to the church, let him be like an unbeliever and a tax collector to you.

Then He said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”Those who were at the table with Him began to say among themselves,“ Who is this man who even forgives sins?”And He said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

Then Peter came to Him and said,“ Lord, how many times could my brother sin against me and I forgive him? As many as seven times?”“ I tell you, not as many as seven,” Jesus said to him,“ but 70 times seven.For this reason, the kingdom of heaven can be compared to a king who wanted to settle accounts with his slaves.When he began to settle accounts, one who owed 10,000 talents was brought before him.Since he had no way to pay it back, his master commanded that he, his wife, his children, and everything he had be sold to pay the debt.“ At this, the slave fell facedown before him and said,‘ Be patient with me, and I will pay you everything!’Then the master of that slave had compassion, released him, and forgave him the loan.“ But that slave went out and found one of his fellow slaves who owed him 100 denarii. He grabbed him, started choking him, and said,‘ Pay what you owe!’“ At this, his fellow slave fell down and began begging him,‘ Be patient with me, and I will pay you back.’But he wasn’t willing. On the contrary, he went and threw him into prison until he could pay what was owed.When the other slaves saw what had taken place, they were deeply distressed and went and reported to their master everything that had happened.“ Then, after he had summoned him, his master said to him,‘ You wicked slave! I forgave you all that debt because you begged me.Shouldn’t you also have had mercy on your fellow slave, as I had mercy on you?’And his master got angry and handed him over to the jailers to be tortured until he could pay everything that was owed.So My heavenly Father will also do to you if each of you does not forgive his brother from his heart.”

Therefore, to have legal disputes against one another is already a moral failure for you. Why not rather put up with injustice? Why not rather be cheated?Instead, you act unjustly and cheat— and you do this to believers!
