應知吾身雖遐、吾神實邇、見爾等之循規蹈矩、實事求是、信仰基督、確乎不拔、而感無限之欣慰焉。

For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.

So even though I am away from you in body, I am with you in spirit. And I am glad to see that you are controlling yourselves. I am happy that your faith in Christ is so strong.

For though I am absent in body, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the firmness of your faith in Christ.

For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong.

你們要警醒，要在信仰上站立得穩，要作大丈夫，要剛強。

弟兄們，我們被迫暫時離開你們，不過是身體離開，心卻沒有離開。我們非常渴望再見到你們。

你們要用堅強的信心抵擋他，因為知道你們在世上的弟兄，也經歷過同樣的苦難。

我身體雖然不在你們那裡，心靈卻與你們在一起，好像我親身在那裡審判了作這件事的人，就是當你們奉我們主耶穌的名聚集在一起，我的靈在那裡，我們主耶穌的權能也同在的時候，

凡事都要規規矩矩地按著次序行。

所以，我親愛的弟兄們，你們務要堅固，不可動搖，常常竭力多作主工，因為知道你們的勞苦，在主裡面不是徒然的。

如果我們把起初的信念堅持到底，就是有分於基督的人了。

所以，親愛的，你們既然預先知道了，就要謹慎，免得受惡人的錯謬引導，就從自己堅固的地步上墜落。你們卻要在我們的主、救主耶穌基督的恩典和知識上長進。願榮耀歸給他，從現在直到永遠。阿們。

免得他們像他們的列祖，成了頑梗悖逆的一代，心不堅定的一代，他們的心對神不忠。

他們的心對他不堅定，也不忠於和他所立的約。

如果你們在主裡站立得穩，我們就可以活下去了。

我們有這盼望，就像靈魂的錨，又穩當又堅固，通過幔子直進到裡面。

此外，還有很多燔祭牲和平安祭牲的脂肪，以及和燔祭同獻的奠祭很多。這樣，耶和華殿裡的事奉就重新恢復了。

如果有人餓了，就應當在家裡先吃，免得你們聚集在一起的時候受到審判。其餘的事，我來的時候再作安排。

他們恆心遵守使徒的教訓，彼此相通、擘餅和祈禱。

拿俄米看路得堅決要跟她走，就不再多費唇舌了。

我願意你們知道，我為你們和在老底嘉的人，以及所有沒有跟我見過面的人，是怎樣竭力奮鬥，
