今當求我、我造昴參諸宿、變陰翳為光明、轉白晝為昏夜、使海水泛濫於地、我名耶和華。

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, who turns midnight into dawn and darkens day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.

The Lord made the Pleiades and Orion. He turns midnight into sunrise. He makes the day fade into night. He sends for the waters in the clouds. Then he pours them out on the surface of the land. His name is the Lord.

He who made the Pleiades and Orion, and turns deep darkness into the morning and darkens the day into night, who calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out on the surface of the earth, the Lord is his name;

It is the Lord who created the stars, the Pleiades and Orion. He turns darkness into morning and day into night. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

那創山、造風、將心意指示人、使晨光變為幽暗、腳踏在地之高處的，他的名是耶和華－萬軍之神。

他造北斗、參星、昴星，並南方的密宮；

主耶和華說：到那日，我必使日頭在午間落下，使地在白晝黑暗。

那在天上建造樓閣、在地上安定穹蒼、命海水澆在地上的－耶和華是他的名。

你造黑暗為夜，林中的百獸就都爬出來。

他將深奧的事從黑暗中彰顯，使死蔭顯為光明。

你能繫住昴星的結嗎？能解開參星的帶嗎？你能按時領出十二宮嗎？能引導北斗和隨它的眾星嗎？

那些坐在黑暗中、死蔭裏的人被困苦和鐵鍊捆鎖，是因他們違背神的話語，藐視至高者的旨意。所以，他用勞苦治服他們的心；他們仆倒，無人扶助。於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華；他從他們的禍患中拯救他們。他從黑暗中和死蔭裏領他們出來，折斷他們的綁索。

或為責罰，或為潤地，或為施行慈愛。

他命黑暗，就有黑暗；沒有違背他話的。

當挪亞六百歲，二月十七日那一天，大淵的泉源都裂開了，天上的窗戶也敞開了，四十晝夜降大雨在地上。正當那日，挪亞和他三個兒子閃、含、雅弗，並挪亞的妻子和三個兒婦，都進入方舟。他們和百獸，各從其類，一切牲畜，各從其類，爬在地上的昆蟲，各從其類，一切禽鳥，各從其類，都進入方舟。凡有血肉、有氣息的活物，都一對一對地到挪亞那裏，進入方舟。凡有血肉進入方舟的，都是有公有母，正如神所吩咐挪亞的。耶和華就把他關在方舟裏頭。洪水氾濫在地上四十天，水往上長，把方舟從地上漂起。水勢浩大，在地上大大地往上長，方舟在水面上漂來漂去。水勢在地上極其浩大，天下的高山都淹沒了。水勢比山高過十五肘，山嶺都淹沒了。

要照亮坐在黑暗中死蔭裏的人，把我們的腳引到平安的路上。

第七次僕人說：「我看見有一小片雲從海裏上來，不過如人手那樣大。」以利亞說：「你上去告訴亞哈，當套車下去，免得被雨阻擋。」霎時間，天因風雲黑暗，降下大雨。亞哈就坐車往耶斯列去了。

你自生以來，曾命定晨光，使清晨的日光知道本位，叫這光普照地的四極，將惡人從其中驅逐出來嗎？

到了晨更的時候，耶和華從雲火柱中向埃及的軍兵觀看，使埃及的軍兵混亂了；又使他們的車輪脫落，難以行走，以致埃及人說：「我們從以色列人面前逃跑吧！因耶和華為他們攻擊我們了。」耶和華對摩西說：「你向海伸杖，叫水仍合在埃及人並他們的車輛、馬兵身上。」摩西就向海伸杖，到了天一亮，海水仍舊復原。埃及人避水逃跑的時候，耶和華把他們推翻在海中，水就回流，淹沒了車輛和馬兵。那些跟着以色列人下海法老的全軍，連一個也沒有剩下。

我要引瞎子行不認識的道，領他們走不知道的路；在他們面前使黑暗變為光明，使彎曲變為平直。這些事我都要行，並不離棄他們。

你能向雲彩揚起聲來，使傾盆的雨遮蓋你嗎？

耶和華對摩西說：「你向天伸杖，使埃及地黑暗；這黑暗似乎摸得着。」摩西向天伸杖，埃及遍地就烏黑了三天。三天之久，人不能相見，誰也不敢起來離開本處；惟有以色列人家中都有亮光。

你用深水遮蓋地面，猶如衣裳；諸水高過山嶺。你的斥責一發，水便奔逃；你的雷聲一發，水便奔流。諸山升上，諸谷沉下，歸你為它所安定之地。你定了界限，使水不能過去，不再轉回遮蓋地面。

那坐在黑暗裏的百姓看見了大光；坐在死蔭之地的人有光發現照着他們。

我們摸索牆壁，好像瞎子；我們摸索，如同無目之人。我們晌午絆腳，如在黃昏一樣；我們在肥壯人中，像死人一般。
