Peter sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. Turning to the body, he said,“ Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.

Peter sent them all out of the room; then he got down on his knees and prayed. Turning toward the dead woman, he said,“ Tabitha, get up.” She opened her eyes, and seeing Peter she sat up.

But when the crowd was put out, he entered in, took her by the hand, and the girl arose.

He kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice,“ Lord, don’t hold this sin against them!” When he had said this, he fell asleep.

But he put them all outside, and taking her by the hand, he called, saying,“ Child, arise!”

They ridiculed him. But he, having put them all out, took the father of the child, her mother, and those who were with him, and went in where the child was lying.Taking the child by the hand, he said to her,“ Talitha cumi!” which means, being interpreted,“ Girl, I tell you, get up!”Immediately the girl rose up and walked, for she was twelve years old. They were amazed with great amazement.

When Elisha had come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and lying on his bed.He went in therefore, and shut the door on them both, and prayed to Yahweh.He went up, and lay on the child, and put his mouth on his mouth, and his eyes on his eyes, and his hands on his hands. He stretched himself on him; and the child’s flesh grew warm.Then he returned, and walked in the house once back and forth; and went up, and stretched himself out on him. Then the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes.He called Gehazi, and said,“ Call this Shunammite!” So he called her. When she had come in to him, he said,“ Take up your son.”

He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,

When he had said this, he cried with a loud voice,“ Lazarus, come out!”He who was dead came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them,“ Free him, and let him go.”

He said to her,“ Give me your son.” He took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into the room where he stayed, and laid him on his own bed.He cried to Yahweh, and said,“ Yahweh my God, have you also brought evil on the widow with whom I am staying, by killing her son?”He stretched himself on the child three times, and cried to Yahweh, and said,“ Yahweh my God, please let this child’s soul come into him again.”Yahweh listened to the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the room into the house, and delivered him to his mother; and Elijah said,“ Behold, your son lives.”

When he had spoken these things, he knelt down and prayed with them all.

When those days were over, we departed and went on our journey. They all, with wives and children, brought us on our way until we were out of the city. Kneeling down on the beach, we prayed.

When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him,“ You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
