第我民不聽從我言、以色列人不肯歸順我、我即任其心中剛愎、聽其隨意而行、

惟彼悖逆、使主之聖神懷憂、主則視之如敵而攻擊之、

如爾棄主、崇事異邦之神、則主降福於爾之後、必轉而降禍於爾、使爾滅亡、

以法蓮族親附偶像、可姑聽之、

又恐爾舉目向天、見日月星辰及諸星宿、諸星宿或作諸天像即主爾之天主為天下萬民所陳列者、則自迷惑崇拜奉事、

我亦必特降之以災、以彼所懼者加諸其身、緣我召彼、無人應、我有言、我有言或作我誨彼無人聽、行我所惡者、行我所惡者或作行惡於我前擇我所不悅者、○

其時爾列祖歷四十年、觀我之作為、猶試我探我、

凡以色列族之人、及居以色列中之他邦客旅、若離棄我、心念其偶像、以陷己於罪之物、置於目前、後又就先知、欲藉之求問我、我耶和華必親斥之、必親斥之或作豈應之乎我向其人發怒、降災其身、使人以之為警戒、作歌譏剌、絕之於我民中、爾曹則知我乃主、如先知迷惑其心、任意出言、我耶和華亦聽其先知迷惑、必舉手懲之、絕之於我民以色列中、彼俱負罪、求問者與先知、罪愆相等、

緣此、我聽其從不善之律例、守不能用以保生之法度、

遂導我至主殿之內院、見在主殿之門、在廊與祭臺之間、約有二十五人、背主殿、面向東方、向東拜日、

彼率民出、行異跡奇事、在伊及、在紅海、在曠野、歷四十年、

不獻羔羊於我為火焚祭、不獻犧牲以敬我、我未嘗使爾獻禮物煩勞、未嘗使爾焚香厭倦、

及種種惑眾之邪惡、在將沈淪者之中、蓋彼眾不悅真理、且不受之而得救、故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、使凡不信真理反悅不義者、悉被定罪、○
