“ Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.

弟兄们，我晓得你们做这事是出于不知，你们的官长也是如此。

“同胞们，现在我知道，你们所做的是出于愚昧无知，就像你们的首领那样。

弟兄們，我曉得你們做這事是出於不知，你們的官長也是如此。

“ My fellow Israelites, I know you didn’t realize what you were doing. Neither did your leaders.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

“ Friends, I realize that what you and your leaders did to Jesus was done in ignorance.

“ And now, brothers and sisters, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you acted in ignorance, just as your rulers also did.

“ Yet now, brethren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

And now, brethren, I know that in ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.

“ And now, brothers, I know that you did it in ignorance, just as your leaders also did.

And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did[ it], as[ did] also your rulers.

And now, brothers, I know you acted in ignorance, as your rulers did too.

“ Now, brothers, I know that you did this in ignorance, as did also your rulers.

The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath.

Jesus said,“ Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

Even though I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent man, I was shown mercy because I acted in ignorance and unbelief.

They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.

None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know!

But Abimelek said,“ I don’t know who has done this. You did not tell me, and I heard about it only today.”

But he refused.“ With me in charge,” he told her,“ my master does not concern himself with anything in the house; everything he owns he has entrusted to my care.

and if this is done unintentionally without the community being aware of it, then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, along with its prescribed grain offering and drink offering, and a male goat for a sin offering.The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven, for it was not intentional and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering and a sin offering.The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.“‘ But if just one person sins unintentionally, that person must bring a year- old female goat for a sin offering.The priest is to make atonement before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native- born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.“‘ But anyone who sins defiantly, whether native- born or foreigner, blasphemes the Lord and must be cut off from the people of Israel.Because they have despised the Lord’s word and broken his commands, they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.’”

Here he is, speaking publicly, and they are not saying a word to him. Have the authorities really concluded that he is the Messiah?But we know where this man is from; when the Messiah comes, no one will know where he is from.”

When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said,“ Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.”

They told Aaron,‘ Make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who led us out of Egypt— we don’t know what has happened to him!’

“ I too was convinced that I ought to do all that was possible to oppose the name of Jesus of Nazareth.

Joseph said to them,“ What is this you have done? Don’t you know that a man like me can find things out by divination?”

God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah— how he appealed to God against Israel:

They replied,“ Are you from Galilee, too? Look into it, and you will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee.”

But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.

Now come and put a curse on these people, because they are too powerful for me. Perhaps then I will be able to defeat them and drive them out of the land. For I know that whoever you bless is blessed, and whoever you curse is cursed.”
