By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

This man whom you see and know was made strong because of faith in Jesus’ name. Faith in Jesus has healed him completely. You can see it with your own eyes.

“ Through faith in the name of Jesus, this man was healed— and you know how crippled he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name has healed him before your very eyes.

Then Peter said,“ Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”

then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.

Jesus replied,“ Truly I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain,‘ Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.”

He listened to Paul as he was speaking. Paul looked directly at him, saw that he had faith to be healed

She kept this up for many days. Finally Paul became so annoyed that he turned around and said to the spirit,“ In the name of Jesus Christ I command you to come out of her!” At that moment the spirit left her.

And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

The apostles said to the Lord,“ Increase our faith!”He replied,“ If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree,‘ Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

Jesus turned and saw her.“ Take heart, daughter,” he said,“ your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.

Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked,“ Why couldn’t we drive it out?”He replied,“ Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain,‘ Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

They had Peter and John brought before them and began to question them:“ By what power or what name did you do this?”

Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon- possessed. They would say,“ In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.”Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this.One day the evil spirit answered them,“ Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?”Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

“ Have faith in God,” Jesus answered.“ Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain,‘ Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them.

Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Now if a boy can be circumcised on the Sabbath so that the law of Moses may not be broken, why are you angry with me for healing a man’s whole body on the Sabbath?

Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus.”

When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria.When they arrived, they prayed for the new believers there that they might receive the Holy Spirit,because the Holy Spirit had not yet come on any of them; they had simply been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
