及迦流為亞該亞方伯、猶太人群起而攻葆樂、曳之公庭曰：『此人勸人不依古法以事天主。』葆樂方欲啟齒、迦流謂猶太人曰：『猶太人乎、所控之事、苟屬犯罪作惡、吾尚可容忍於爾、茲所爭者、僅係理論名詞及爾禮法之辯、爾宜自處、吾則無意予以受理。』盡逐之出；眾於公庭之前、執司會所提尼而毆之；迦流亦漠然置之。
