如爾中有先知、或作夢者起、施行異蹟奇事、所言有驗、遂語爾曰、宜從他神而事之、乃爾素所未識者、毋聽其言、蓋爾上帝耶和華試爾、欲知爾果一心一意、愛爾上帝耶和華否、

有西門者、素於邑行巫、每自誇大、使撒瑪利亞民驚異、自少至老皆聽之、曰、此人即所謂上帝之大能也、眾嚮往之故、因其久以巫術使之驚異也、

世上諸商、亦為之哭而哀、因不復見有人購其貨也、斯貨也、若金銀、寶石、珠璣、枲布、紫料、絲帛、絳料、香松諸木、象牙諸器、及佳木銅鐵白石諸器、亦有肉桂、荳蔻、香料、香膏、乳香、酒、油、麵、麥、牛、羊、馬、車、及人之身與靈也、

彼由貪婪、將以飾言漁爾之利、自昔其鞫不遲、淪亡不寢、

蓋有銀工底米丟者、素製亞底米銀龕、使諸工事業增益、
