今何為試上帝、以祖宗及我不能負之軛、置門徒頸乎、

今何為試天主、以我列祖及我儕所不能負之軛、置於門徒頸乎、

今爾何為拂逆天主、而欲以吾列祖及吾儕所不堪負荷之軛、加諸信徒之項乎？

Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?

Now then, why are you trying to test God? You test him when you put a heavy load on the shoulders of Gentiles. Our people of long ago couldn’t carry that load. We can’t either.

Now, therefore, why are you putting God to the test by placing a yoke on the neck of the disciples that neither our fathers nor we have been able to bear?

So why are you now challenging God by burdening the Gentile believers with a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors were able to bear?

Now then, why are you testing God by putting a yoke on the disciples’ necks that neither our ancestors nor we have been able to bear?

Since this is the case, why are you putting God to the test by placing upon the neck of the disciples a yoke which neither our forefathers nor we have been able to bear?

他们把沉重难挑的担子捆起来，放在人们肩上，但自己却连一根指头也不肯动它们一下。

基督释放了我们，使我们得自由。所以你们当站立得稳，不要再被奴役的轭所束缚。

但如今，你们认识了神——不过更要说，被神所认识——怎么能再回到那无能、无用的原则里去呢？你们愿意再重新做它们的奴仆吗？

但亚哈斯说：“我不求，我不试探耶和华。”

耶稣对他说：“经上又记着：‘不可试探主——你的神。’”

这会幕是现今时代的一个象征，在这里所献上的礼物和祭物，并不能使事奉者的良心得以完全，

在那里，你们的祖先考验我、试探我，并且看了我的作为四十年之久。

“所有劳苦和背负重担的人哪，到我这里来吧！我将使你们得到安息。你们当负起我的轭，向我学，因为我心地柔和、谦卑。这样，你们就将寻得灵魂的安息。要知道，我的轭是容易负的，我的担子是轻省的。”

我说：继承人虽然是一切的主人，但是当他还是小孩子的时候，与奴仆没有区别；他是在监护人和管家之下，直到父亲所预定的时候来到。我们也是这样：我们还是小孩子的时候，在世界的原则下受奴役。但是等到时候一满足，神就派遣他的儿子，由女人所生，生在律法之下，为要救赎律法之下的人，好使我们得到儿子的名份。
