Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly, and said,“ It was necessary that God’s word should be spoken to you first. Since indeed you thrust it from yourselves, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly:“ We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said,“ It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

And Paul and Barnabas spake out boldly, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first be spoken to you. Seeing ye thrust it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Then Paul and Barnabas boldly said:“ It was necessary that God’s message be spoken to you first. But since you reject it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles!

Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing ye put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.

Both Paul and Barnabas replied courageously,“ It was necessary to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we are turning to the Gentiles.

“ Be it known therefore to you, that the salvation of God is sent to the nations, and they will listen.”

but declared first to them of Damascus, at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

God, having raised up his servant Jesus, sent him to you first to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your wickedness.”

“ Therefore I tell you, God’s Kingdom will be taken away from you, and will be given to a nation producing its fruit.

“ He said to me,‘ Depart, for I will send you out far from here to the Gentiles.’”

Behold, you shall call a nation that you don’t know; and a nation that didn’t know you shall run to you, because of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.”

But glory, honor, and peace go to every man who does good, to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

But when Silas and Timothy came down from Macedonia, Paul was compelled by the Spirit, testifying to the Jews that Jesus was the Christ.When they opposed him and blasphemed, he shook out his clothing and said to them,“ Your blood be on your own heads! I am clean. From now on, I will go to the Gentiles!”

For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Christ, because it is the power of God for salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first, and also for the Greek.

Brothers, children of the stock of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, the word of this salvation is sent out to you.

But I ask, didn’t Israel know? First Moses says,“ I will provoke you to jealousy with that which is no nation. I will make you angry with a nation void of understanding.”Isaiah is very bold and says,“ I was found by those who didn’t seek me. I was revealed to those who didn’t ask for me.”But about Israel he says,“ All day long I stretched out my hands to a disobedient and contrary people.”

But he said to him,“ A certain man made a great supper, and he invited many people.He sent out his servant at supper time to tell those who were invited,‘ Come, for everything is ready now.’They all as one began to make excuses.“ The first said to him,‘ I have bought a field, and I must go and see it. Please have me excused.’“ Another said,‘ I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I must go try them out. Please have me excused.’“ Another said,‘ I have married a wife, and therefore I can’t come.’“ That servant came, and told his lord these things. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant,‘ Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in the poor, maimed, blind, and lame.’“ The servant said,‘ Lord, it is done as you commanded, and there is still room.’“ The lord said to the servant,‘ Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.For I tell you that none of those men who were invited will taste of my supper.’”

He came to his own, and those who were his own didn’t receive him.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fullness?For I speak to you who are Gentiles. Since then as I am an apostle to Gentiles, I glorify my ministry;

“ You stiff- necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Spirit! As your fathers did, so you do.

who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises;of whom are the fathers, and from whom is Christ as concerning the flesh, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.

and the rest grabbed his servants, and treated them shamefully, and killed them.When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.“ Then he said to his servants,‘ The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy.Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the wedding feast.’Those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.

Now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness,while you stretch out your hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of your holy Servant Jesus.”When they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were gathered together. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God. They have provoked me to anger with their vanities. I will move them to jealousy with those who are not a people. I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation.

The wicked flee when no one pursues; but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ I have seen these people, and behold, they are a stiff- necked people.Now therefore leave me alone, that my wrath may burn hot against them, and that I may consume them; and I will make of you a great nation.”

and that most of the brothers in the Lord, being confident through my bonds, are more abundantly bold to speak the word of God without fear.

Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it, but if it isn’t worthy, let your peace return to you.Whoever doesn’t receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.Most certainly I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.

Now Yahweh, he who formed me from the womb to be his servant, says to bring Jacob again to him, and to gather Israel to him, for I am honorable in Yahweh’s eyes, and my God has become my strength.Indeed, he says,“ It is too light a thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel. I will also give you as a light to the nations, that you may be my salvation to the end of the earth.”Yahweh, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, says to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation abhors, to a servant of rulers:“ Kings shall see and rise up, princes, and they shall worship, because of Yahweh who is faithful, even the Holy One of Israel, who has chosen you.”Yahweh says,“ I have answered you in an acceptable time. I have helped you in a day of salvation. I will preserve you and give you for a covenant of the people, to raise up the land, to make them inherit the desolate heritage,

But they, passing on from Perga, came to Antioch of Pisidia. They went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and sat down.

You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews.

quenched the power of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, from weakness were made strong, grew mighty in war, and caused foreign armies to flee.

When they were at Salamis, they proclaimed God’s word in the Jewish synagogues. They also had John as their attendant.

Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and had perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled. They recognized that they had been with Jesus.

on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in opening my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the Good News,for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
