主命基督云、我立爾為異邦人之光、俾爾為救主、至於地極矣、

因主如是命我儕、經載天主語基督云、我立爾為異邦人之光、使爾施救至於地極、

主嘗示曰：「我立爾為萬國光、普施救恩於寰宇。」』

For this is what the Lord has commanded us:“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

This is what the Lord has commanded us to do. He said,“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles. You will bring salvation to the whole earth.’ ”( Isaiah 49:6)

For so the Lord has commanded us, saying,“‘ I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.’”

For the Lord gave us this command when he said,‘ I have made you a light to the Gentiles, to bring salvation to the farthest corners of the earth.’”

For this is what the Lord has commanded us: I have made you a light for the Gentiles to bring salvation to the ends of the earth.”

For so the Lord has commanded us,‘ I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles, That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’ ”

“ I, Yahweh, have called you in righteousness. I will hold your hand. I will keep you, and make you a covenant for the people, as a light for the nations,

a light for revelation to the nations, and the glory of your people Israel.”

“ Look to me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other.

Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth.”

Yahweh of Armies says:“ Many peoples, and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come;and the inhabitants of one shall go to another, saying,‘ Let’s go speedily to entreat the favor of Yahweh, and to seek Yahweh of Armies. I will go also.’Yes, many peoples and strong nations will come to seek Yahweh of Armies in Jerusalem, and to entreat the favor of Yahweh.”Yahweh of Armies says:“ In those days, ten men will take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, they will take hold of the skirt of him who is a Jew, saying,‘ We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

Praise Yahweh, all you nations! Extol him, all you peoples!For his loving kindness is great toward us. Yahweh’s faithfulness endures forever. Praise Yah!

That your way may be known on earth, and your salvation among all nations,let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.Oh let the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you will judge the peoples with equity, and govern the nations on earth. Selah.Let the peoples praise you, God. Let all the peoples praise you.The earth has yielded its increase. God, even our own God, will bless us.God will bless us. All the ends of the earth shall fear him.

Yahweh has made his holy arm bare in the eyes of all the nations. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Yet the number of the children of Israel will be as the sand of the sea, which can’t be measured or counted; and it will come to pass that, in the place where it was said to them,‘ You are not my people,’ they will be called‘ sons of the living God.’

Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.

“ Behold, my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen, in whom my soul delights: I have put my Spirit on him. He will bring justice to the nations.

Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

For it will be so within the earth among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive tree, as the gleanings when the vintage is done.These shall lift up their voice. They will shout for the majesty of Yahweh. They cry aloud from the sea.Therefore glorify Yahweh in the east, even the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea!From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs. Glory to the righteous! But I said,“ I pine away! I pine away! woe is me!” The treacherous have dealt treacherously. Yes, the treacherous have dealt very treacherously.

Behold, the former things have happened and I declare new things. I tell you about them before they come up.”Sing to Yahweh a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and all that is therein, the islands and their inhabitants.Let the wilderness and its cities raise their voices, with the villages that Kedar inhabits. Let the inhabitants of Sela sing. Let them shout from the top of the mountains!Let them give glory to Yahweh, and declare his praise in the islands.

This is what Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.It shall happen in the latter days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be raised above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.Many peoples shall go and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law shall go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem.

All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to Yahweh. All the relatives of the nations shall worship before you.For the kingdom is Yahweh’s. He is the ruler over the nations.All the rich ones of the earth shall eat and worship. All those who go down to the dust shall bow before him, even he who can’t keep his soul alive.

Sing to Yahweh a new song! Sing to Yahweh, all the earth.Sing to Yahweh! Bless his name! Proclaim his salvation from day to day!

So they will fear Yahweh’s name from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun; for he will come as a rushing stream, which Yahweh’s breath drives.“ A Redeemer will come to Zion, and to those who turn from disobedience in Jacob,” says Yahweh.

In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.

that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the nations who are called by my name,” says Yahweh who does this.

Many nations will go and say,“ Come! Let’s go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem;and he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.

“ He said to me,‘ Depart, for I will send you out far from here to the Gentiles.’”

He said to them,“ Go into all the world, and preach the Good News to the whole creation.

But the Lord said to him,“ Go your way, for he is my chosen vessel to bear my name before the nations and kings, and the children of Israel.

Many nations shall join themselves to Yahweh in that day, and shall be my people; and I will dwell among you, and you shall know that Yahweh of Armies has sent me to you.

For from the rising of the sun even to its going down, my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense will be offered to my name, and a pure offering: for my name is great among the nations,” says Yahweh of Armies.

Simeon has reported how God first visited the nations to take out of them a people for his name.This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written,‘ After these things I will return. I will again build the tabernacle of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up

For then I will purify the lips of the peoples, that they may all call on Yahweh’s name, to serve him shoulder to shoulder.From beyond the rivers of Cush, my worshipers, even the daughter of my dispersed people, will bring my offering.

and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name to all the nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

The remnant of Jacob will be among many peoples, like dew from Yahweh, like showers on the grass, that don’t wait for man, nor wait for the sons of men.

how the Christ must suffer, and how, by the resurrection of the dead, he would be first to proclaim light both to these people and to the Gentiles.”

delivering you from the people, and from the Gentiles, to whom I send you,to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Yahweh, my strength, and my stronghold, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations will come to you from the ends of the earth, and will say,“ Our fathers have inherited nothing but lies, vanity and things in which there is no profit.
