Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.

故此，神就给他们一个生发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，

故此，上帝就给他们一个引发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，

故此，神就给他们一个引发错误的心，叫他们信从虚谎，

上帝就让他们是非不辨，去相信那些虚假的谎言，

因此，神就使错谬的思想运行在他们当中，让他们相信虚谎，

为此，神就把一种迷惑人的力量送进他们里面，使他们相信虚假之事，

故此，神就給他們一個生發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

故此，上帝就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

故此，神就給他們一個引發錯誤的心，叫他們信從虛謊，

上帝就讓他們是非不辨，去相信那些虛假的謊言，

因此，神就使錯謬的思想運行在他們當中，讓他們相信虛謊，

為這緣故、上帝就將謬妄「所運用的動力」送在他們身上，使他們信從虛謊，

為此，神就把一種迷惑人的力量送進他們裡面，使他們相信虛假之事，

故上帝施以乖謬、致信誑言、

為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、

故天主使其大謬、信從虛偽、

既不愛慕真理、天主亦祇得聽其從妄信謊、

For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie

So God will fool them completely. Then they will believe the lie.

Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false,

So God will cause them to be greatly deceived, and they will believe these lies.

For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe the lie,

For this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false,

And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie,

And for this cause God sendeth them a working of error, that they should believe a lie:

And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what should not be done.

For this reason they could not believe, because again Isaiah said,“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes and understand with their heart, and turn to me, and I would heal them.”Isaiah said these things because he saw Christ’s glory, and spoke about him.Nevertheless, even among the rulers many believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they would not confess Jesus to be the Christ, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue.For they loved praise from men more than praise from God.

while seeing false visions for you and reading lying omens for you– to place that sword on the necks of the profane wicked, whose day has come, the time of final punishment.

But my people did not obey me; Israel did not submit to me.I gave them over to their stubborn desires; they did what seemed right to them.

You will be shocked and amazed! You are totally blind! They are drunk, but not because of wine; they stagger, but not because of beer.For the LORD has poured out on you a strong urge to sleep deeply. He has shut your eyes( the prophets), and covered your heads( the seers).To you this entire prophetic revelation is like words in a sealed scroll. When they hand it to one who can read and say,“ Read this,” he responds,“ I can’t, because it is sealed.”Or when they hand the scroll to one who can’t read and say,“ Read this,” he says,“ I can’t read.”The sovereign master says,“ These people say they are loyal to me; they say wonderful things about me, but they are not really loyal to me. Their worship consists of nothing but man- made ritual.Therefore I will again do an amazing thing for these people– an absolutely extraordinary deed. Wise men will have nothing to say, the sages will have no explanations.”

The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat,“ Didn’t I tell you he does not prophesy prosperity for me, but disaster?”Micaiah said,“ That being the case, hear the word of the LORD. I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, with all the heavenly assembly standing on his right and on his left.The LORD said,‘ Who will deceive Ahab, so he will attack Ramoth Gilead and die there?’ One said this and another that.Then a spirit stepped forward and stood before the LORD. He said,‘ I will deceive him.’ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’

For although they knew God, they did not glorify him as God or give him thanks, but they became futile in their thoughts and their senseless hearts were darkened.Although they claimed to be wise, they became foolsand exchanged the glory of the immortal God for an image resembling mortal human beings or birds or four- footed animals or reptiles.Therefore God gave them over in the desires of their hearts to impurity, to dishonor their bodies among themselves.They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creation rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen.

“‘ As for the prophet, if he is made a fool by being deceived into speaking a prophetic word– I, the LORD, have made a fool of that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand against him and destroy him from among my people Israel.

For the appeal we make does not come from error or impurity or with deceit,

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will desert the faith and occupy themselves with deceiving spirits and demonic teachings,

He feeds on ashes; his deceived mind misleads him. He cannot rescue himself, nor does he say,‘ Is this not a false god I hold in my right hand?’

Do not listen to them, because their prophecies are lies. Listening to them will only cause you to be taken far away from your native land. I will drive you out of your country and you will die in exile.

He loved to curse others, so those curses have come upon him. He had no desire to bless anyone, so he has experienced no blessings.

So I will choose severe punishment for them; I will bring on them what they dread, because I called, and no one responded, I spoke and they did not listen. They did evil before me; they chose to do what displeases me.”

And many false prophets will appear and deceive many,

Micaiah said,“ That being the case, hear the word of the LORD: I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, with all the heavenly assembly standing on his right and on his left.The LORD said,‘ Who will deceive King Ahab of Israel, so he will attack Ramoth Gilead and die there?’ One said this and another that.Then a spirit stepped forward and stood before the LORD. He said,‘ I will deceive him.’ The LORD asked him,‘ How?’He replied,‘ I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouths of all his prophets.’ The LORD said,‘ Deceive and overpower him. Go out and do as you have proposed.’So now, look, the LORD has placed a lying spirit in the mouths of all these prophets of yours; but the LORD has decreed disaster for you.”

He said,“ Go and tell these people:‘ Listen continually, but don’t understand! Look continually, but don’t perceive!’Make the hearts of these people calloused; make their ears deaf and their eyes blind! Otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, their hearts might understand and they might repent and be healed.”

For many will come in my name, saying,‘ I am the Christ,’ and they will mislead many.
