Now a troublemaker named Sheba son of Bikri, a Benjamite, happened to be there. He sounded the trumpet and shouted,“ We have no share in David, no part in Jesse’s son! Every man to his tent, Israel!”

An evil man who always stirred up trouble happened to be in Gilgal. His name was Sheba, the son of Bikri. Sheba was from the tribe of Benjamin. He blew his trumpet. Then he shouted,“ We don’t have any share in David’s kingdom! Jesse’s son is not our king! Men of Israel, every one of you go back home!”

Now there happened to be there a worthless man, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjaminite. And he blew the trumpet and said,“ We have no portion in David, and we have no inheritance in the son of Jesse; every man to his tents, O Israel!”

There happened to be a troublemaker there named Sheba son of Bicri, a man from the tribe of Benjamin. Sheba blew a ram’s horn and began to chant:“ Down with the dynasty of David! We have no interest in the son of Jesse. Come on, you men of Israel, back to your homes!”

Now a wicked man, a Benjaminite named Sheba son of Bichri, happened to be there. He blew the ram’s horn and shouted: We have no portion in David, no inheritance in Jesse’s son. Each man to his tent, Israel!

And there happened to be there a base fellow, whose name was Sheba, the son of Bichri, a Benjamite: and he blew the trumpet, and said, We have no portion in David, neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to his tents, O Israel.

有人出來、是無賴子、勾引了他們城內的居民說：「我們去事奉別的神吧」；這些神是你們素來所不認識的；

以色列眾民見王不聽他們的要求，就回答王說：『我們在大衛上有甚麼分兒呢？我們在耶西的兒子上並沒有業分呀。以色列人哪，各回各家去吧！大衛啊，現在只顧你自己的家吧。』於是以色列眾人都回家去了。

羅波安的父親所羅門活着的時候有些侍立在他面前的老年人：羅波安王和這些老年人商議說：『你們給我出個甚麼主意，我好將答案回覆這眾民呢？』

永恆主啊，求你起來，迎面攻擊他，使他屈身而死；用你的刀解救我的性命脫離惡人，

當下以色列眾人來見王，對王說：『我們的族弟兄猶大人為甚麼偷偷把王和王的家眷並跟隨王的人接過約但河來呢？』猶大眾人回答以色列人說：『因為王是我們的近親；你們為甚麼因這事而發怒呢？我們喫了王的甚麼沒有？我們收到甚麼禮份沒有？』以色列人回答猶大人說：『在王身上我們有十分的情分；在大衛身上我們也比你們更有分；你們為甚麼輕看我們，接我們的王回來、也不先和我們說一聲呢？』但是猶大人的話比以色列人的話更硬。

掃羅就對左右侍立的臣僕說：『便雅憫人哪，你們聽吧！耶西的兒子不但要將田地和葡萄園賜給你們各人！也要立你們各人做千夫長或百夫長呢！你們竟都共謀來害我；我兒子同耶西的兒子結盟的時候、也沒有人向我披露；我兒子鼓動我的臣僕做仇敵來害我，就如今日的光景，你們中間也沒有人顧惜我、而向我披露！』

好紛爭的人煽動爭端，就如炭火上加炭、火上加柴。

你不可冒然出去爭論；因為你鄰舍若羞辱你，你到底要怎麼辦呢？

但匪類卻像荊棘、都被丟棄；是不能用手拿的；

永恆主啊，你不是從亙古就有麼？我的上帝、我的聖者啊，你是不死的。永恆主啊，你派定他們以施判罰，磐石啊，你設立他們以行譴責。你眼目清潔不看壞事，你是不能逕看着毒害舉動而不理的！為甚麼你逕看着詭詐不忠的人而不理？惡人吞滅了比自己正義的、你為甚麼靜默不動？

弟子啊，你要敬畏永恆主，敬畏君王；不可激怒此二者；因為他們降的災難必突然而起；二者所要施行的毁滅誰能知道呢？

義人多有禍患；但永恆主援救他脫離這一切；

他們心裏正暢快的時候，忽有城裏的人一些無賴子、把房子圍住，連連敲門，對房主老人說：『把進你家那個人帶出來，我們要和他交合。』

以利的兩個兒子是無賴子，他們不認識永恆主。

押沙龍卻打發密使、在以色列各族派中說：『你們一聽見號角的聲音、就要說：「押沙龍在希伯崙作王了！」』

既已到了，就在以法蓮山地吹號角；以色列人從山地和他一同下來，他在他們前面領路；

他的公民素常恨他，便差遣使者跟他後邊去說：「我們不願意這個人做王管理我們。」

跟大衛同行的人中間所有的壞人和無賴應時地說：『這些人既然沒有跟我們同行，我們所奪回的掠物就不分給他們；只將他們各人的妻子兒女給他們，讓他們帶走就是了。』

至於我這些仇敵、不願意我做王管理他們的、你們要帶到這裏來，在我面前給屠殺掉。」』
