Then the king said to Ziba,“ All that belonged to Mephibosheth is now yours.”“ I humbly bow,” Ziba said.“ May I find favor in your eyes, my lord the king.”

Then the king said to Ziba,“ Everything that belonged to Mephibosheth belongs to you now.”“ You are my king and master,” Ziba said.“ I make myself humble in front of you. I bow down to you. May you be pleased with me.”

Then the king said to Ziba,“ Behold, all that belonged to Mephibosheth is now yours.” And Ziba said,“ I pay homage; let me ever find favor in your sight, my lord the king.”

The king said to Ziba,“ All that belongs to Mephibosheth is now yours!”“ I bow before you,” Ziba said.“ May I find favor with you, my lord the king!”

So the king said to Ziba,“ Behold, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours.” And Ziba said,“ I prostrate myself; may I find favor in your sight, my lord, the king!”

So the king said to Ziba,“ Here, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours.” And Ziba said,“ I humbly bow before you, that I may find favor in your sight, my Lord, O king!”

Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine is all that pertaineth unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I do obeisance; let me find favor in thy sight, my lord, O king.

The king said to Ziba,“ All that belongs to Mephibosheth is now yours!”“ I bow before you,” Ziba said.“ May you look favorably on me, my lord the king!”

Then said the king to Ziba, Behold, thine[ are] all that[ pertained] unto Mephibosheth. And Ziba said, I humbly beseech thee[ that] I may find grace in thy sight, my lord, O king.

The king said to Ziba,“ Everything that was Mephibosheth’s now belongs to you.” Ziba replied,“ I bow before you. May I find favor in your sight, my lord the king.”

Then the king said to Ziba,“ Behold, all that belongs to Mephibosheth is yours.” Ziba said,“ I bow down. Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, O king.”

When the woman from Tekoa approached the king, she bowed with her face to the ground in deep respect and cried out,“ O king! Help me!”

“ You must not convict anyone of a crime on the testimony of only one witness. The facts of the case must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Enthusiasm without knowledge is no good; haste makes mistakes.

The first to speak in court sounds right— until the cross examination begins.

Spouting off before listening to the facts is both shameful and foolish.

“ Take no bribes, for a bribe makes you ignore something that you clearly see. A bribe makes even a righteous person twist the truth.

Joab bowed with his face to the ground in deep respect and said,“ At last I know that I have gained your approval, my lord the king, for you have granted me this request!”

“ If anyone objects,” the king said,“ bring him to me. I can assure you he will never harm you again!”Then she said,“ Please swear to me by the Lord your God that you won’t let anyone take vengeance against my son. I want no more bloodshed.”“ As surely as the Lord lives,” he replied,“ not a hair on your son’s head will be disturbed!”
