可愛者乎、既預知此事、則當慎、毋為惡人之謬所迷、而失爾之堅心、

施恩之天主、曾因耶穌基督召我儕享其永榮、願彼在爾暫受苦之後、成全爾、堅固爾、使爾力強、且得立穩有基、

當追憶前日、爾蒙光照之後、爾忍受多難、譬之戰爭、

勿為諸異端所撼、心堅以主恩、非以別飲食之事、乃善也、別飲食之事、行之者從未得益、

因此我勸爾以天主之恩賜、即因我按手所賜於爾者、再發動之、如火復熾、

爾以此勸兄弟、則可為耶穌基督之善役、養育於主道、及爾所從之善教、

根深在彼、建造在彼、堅固於信、如爾所學、且信更增益而感謝焉、○

於是諸教會之信益堅、其數日增、○
