我張網羅、罹之於中、曳至迦勒底之巴比倫、雖死於彼、亦不得見其地。彼之左右、爰及軍旅、我必散之於四方、襲之以白刃、既散之於列邦、令彼曉然、我乃耶和華。我必遣數人、得免鋒刃、饑饉瘟疫、使之旅於列邦、自言其非、深可痛疾、使知我乃耶和華。

如我歸而季弟不歸、見父遭禍、吾何忍乎、

非利士人遂執、而抉其目、解至迦薩、繫以銅索、使旋磨於獄。

我耶和華指己而誓、王子既為巴比倫王所立、藐視其主、爽其盟約、則必至巴比倫而沒、敵既築壘建營、欲滅邑眾、法老雖率旅眾多、以助其戰、亦必不利、蓋王子於立約之後、不以盟誓為重、而爽其約、故不能免難。主耶和華又曰、彼藐視約言、而背我命、我指己而誓、必罰其罪、罹之以網羅、陷之以坎阱、曳至巴比倫、在彼降災、以罰其罪、

列國之王、繫以鐵索、貴顯之臣、囚以桎梏兮、

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒攻之、繫以鐵索、解至巴比倫、

相去一矢、曰、我不忍見子之亡、坐而相對、大聲號泣。

巴比倫王在立拉殺西底家諸子、使其目睹、亦殺猶大諸牧伯、巴比倫王抉西底家目、繫以銅索、解至巴比倫、幽於囹圄至死不赦。

故使亞述王軍長攻之、執馬拿西、擊以鐵索、解至巴比倫、

爾必不得免、為人所執、解至巴比倫王前、詰問研究、被逮至巴比倫、

斯人也、違逆至高之上帝、厭棄其道、故居幽暗陰翳之地、陷以患難、縶以鐵索兮、

王公哀慘、牧伯驚駭、庶民喪膽、我視其所行、降以重罰、使知我乃耶和華。

爾既見此、必致心狂。
