坐在天上的主啊，我向你舉目。看哪，奴僕的眼怎樣望着主人的手，婢女的眼怎樣望着主母的手，我們的眼也怎樣望着永恆主我們的上帝，直到他恩待我們。恩待我們，永恆主啊，恩待我們；因為我們飽受了藐視到極點。我們飽受了安逸人的嗤笑，驕傲人的藐視，到了極點。

住在至高者的隱密處的、就是居於全能者的蔭庇下。我要說到永恆主，我的避難所，我的營寨，我的上帝，我所倚靠的。

上帝啊，敵人辱罵、要到幾時呢？仇敵褻慢你的名、要到永久麼？為甚麼將你的手縮回，將你右手老縮在懷中呢？

永恆主我的上帝啊，求你垂顧你僕人的禱告懇求，聽你僕人今天在你面前所發的呼籲和禱告；願你的眼睜開着、晝夜看顧這殿，看顧你所說你的名要臨在的聖地；願你聽你僕人向這聖地所發的禱告。求你聽你僕人和你人民以色列的懇求，就是他們向這聖地所禱告的；求你在天上、你居住之所在垂聽，垂聽而赦免。

獻晚祭的時候、我從刻苦卑抑的情態中起來，我的衣服和外袍都撕裂着，我屈膝跪着，向永恆主我的上帝伸開了雙手禱告，
