耶罗波安却为丘坛、公山羊像和他造的牛犊像设立他自己的祭司。

耶和华啊，我罪恶深重，求你为了自己的名而赦免我。

我把国从大卫家夺走赐给你，你却没有像我仆人大卫那样遵守我的诫命，全心听从我，做我视为正的事，

“之后，耶和华必让亚述王来攻击你们。这是你全家及你的人民自以色列与犹大分裂以来从未有的日子。

在耶和华的眼中，这两个青年罪恶深重，因为他们轻视献给耶和华的祭物。

从此，以色列人反叛大卫家，一直到今天。以色列人听说耶罗波安回来了，就请他到会众面前，拥立他做以色列人的王。只有犹大支派仍然效忠大卫家。

耶稣回答说：“除非从上面赐下权柄给你，否则你无权处置我。因此，把我交给你的那人罪更大。”

他又在各城池加强防御，派将领驻守，供给食物、油和酒。

亚比米勒召见亚伯拉罕，对他说：“你为什么要害我们？我什么地方得罪了你？你竟使我和我的人民陷入大罪！你不该这样做。”

摩西对亚伦说：“这些百姓对你做了什么？你竟使他们陷入大罪中！”

我儿啊，不可这样，我听到在耶和华的子民中流传着你们的坏名声。
