Then King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-Pileser king of Assyria. He saw an altar in Damascus and sent to Uriah the priest a sketch of the altar, with detailed plans for its construction.

Then King Ahaz went to Damascus. He went there to see Tiglath- Pileser, the king of Assyria. Ahaz saw an altar in Damascus. He sent a drawing of it to Uriah the priest. Ahaz also sent him plans for building it.

When King Ahaz went to Damascus to meet Tiglath-pileser king of Assyria, he saw the altar that was at Damascus. And King Ahaz sent to Uriah the priest a model of the altar, and its pattern, exact in all its details.

他祭祀攻击他的大马士革之神，说：“因为亚兰王的神帮助他们，我也献祭与他，他好帮助我。”但那些神使他和以色列众人败亡了。亚哈斯将神殿里的器皿都聚了来，毁坏了，且封锁耶和华殿的门；在耶路撒冷各处的拐角建筑祭坛，又在犹大各城建立邱坛，与别神烧香，惹动耶和华他列祖神的怒气。

使他们的门槛挨近我的门槛，他们的门框挨近我的门框；他们与我中间仅隔一墙，并且行可憎的事，玷污了我的圣名，所以我发怒灭绝他们。

他们将人的吩咐当作道理教导人，所以拜我也是枉然。’”

摩西将耶和华的命令都写上。清早起来，在山下筑一座坛，按以色列十二支派立十二根柱子，

不要效法这个世界，只要心意更新而变化，叫你们察验何为神的善良、纯全、可喜悦的旨意。

耶和华怎样吩咐的，他们就怎样做了。摩西看见一切的工都做成了，就给他们祝福。

以色列王比加年间，亚述王提革拉毗列色来夺了以云、亚伯伯玛迦、亚挪、基低斯、夏琐、基列、加利利，和拿弗他利全地，将这些地方的居民都掳到亚述去了。

大卫将殿的游廊、旁屋、府库、楼房、内殿，和施恩所的样式指示他儿子所罗门，又将被灵感动所得的样式，就是耶和华神殿的院子、周围的房屋、殿的府库，和圣物府库的一切样式都指示他；

这样，他们被自己所做的污秽了，在行为上犯了邪淫。

他就可以不孝敬父母。’这就是你们藉着遗传，废了神的诫命。

知道你们得赎，脱去你们祖宗所传流虚妄的行为，不是凭着能坏的金银等物，

那时就要谨慎，不可在他们除灭之后随从他们的恶俗，陷入网罗，也不可访问他们的神说：‘这些国民怎样侍奉他们的神，我也要照样行。’

大卫说：“这一切工作的样式都是耶和华用手划出来使我明白的。”

阿荷利巴一看见就贪恋他们，打发使者往迦勒底去见他们。巴比伦人就来登她爱情的床，与她行淫玷污她。她被玷污，随后心里与他们生疏。
