必須處死他們。你們要首先下手，然後眾人一起打死他們。

偶像必被徹底剷除。

又把他們鑄造的牛犢熔化掉，磨成粉末撒在水面上，叫以色列百姓喝。

「到那天，我必剷除地上偶像的名號，使它們被人遺忘；我必除去地上的假先知和污穢的靈。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。若有人再說預言，他的親生父母必對他說，『你不得活命，因為你奉耶和華的名說謊。』他說預言的時候，他的親生父母必把他刺死。

他污瀆欣嫩子谷中的陀斐特，使人們不能焚燒自己的兒女獻給摩洛。
