So we don’t spend all our time looking at what we can see. Instead, we look at what we can’t see. That’s because what can be seen lasts only a short time. But what can’t be seen will last forever.

因為我們行事為人，是憑對上帝的信心，不是憑眼見。

我們得救的人有這個盼望。不過，看得見的盼望根本不算盼望，因為誰會盼望已經看見的呢？但我們若盼望那尚未看見的，就會忍耐等候。

信心是對盼望的事有把握，對還沒看見的事很確定。

這些人到死都滿懷信心。他們雖然沒有得到上帝所應許的，卻從遠處望見了，就歡喜快樂，承認自己在世上不過是寄居的異鄉人。

凡屬世界的，如肉體的私慾、眼目的私慾和今生的驕傲都不是從天父那裡來的，而是從世界來的。這世界和其中一切的私慾都要過去，但遵守上帝旨意的人永遠長存。

主應許給我們的是永生。

寧願與上帝的子民一同受苦，也不肯享受一時的罪中之樂。在他眼中，為基督所受的凌辱遠比埃及的財富更有價值，因為他盼望的是將來的賞賜。他憑信心離開埃及，不怕王的憤怒。他堅忍不拔，好像看見了肉眼不能看見的主。

定睛仰望為我們的信心創始成終的耶穌。祂為了擺在前面的喜樂，就輕看羞辱，忍受了十字架的痛苦，如今已坐在上帝寶座的右邊。你們要思想忍受罪人如此頂撞的主，免得疲倦灰心。

這些人要受永遠的刑罰，但義人要得到永遠的生命。」

願主耶穌基督和愛我們、開恩將永遠的安慰和美好的盼望賜給我們的父上帝，

他要將贖罪祭牲的脂肪焚燒在壇上。把羊送交阿撒瀉勒的人要洗衣、沐浴，然後才可回到營裡。
