吾人現世暫寓之逆旅、固有土崩瓦解之時。然吾人在天有一永久之安宅焉。此宅也、非人手所造、乃天主之所賜也。

親愛的弟兄姊妹，我們現在是上帝的兒女，將來如何還未顯明。但我們知道，當主顯現的時候，我們必會像祂，因為我們必見到祂的本體。

我知道我的救贖主活著，最後祂必站在地上。我的皮肉雖然要朽爛，但我必活著見上帝。

我覺得應當趁著我還在世的時候提醒你們，激勵你們，因我知道自己離世的日子已經不遠了，正如我們的主耶穌基督指示我的。

我們不過是瓦器，裡面卻有這寶貝，要顯明這莫大的能力是上帝的，而不是我們自己的。

現在基督已經來到，作了美好新約的大祭司，祂進入了那更偉大、更全備、非人手建造、不屬於這個世界的聖幕。

因為基督並非進入了人手所造的聖所，那只是真聖所的縮影，祂是進入了天堂，替我們來到上帝面前。

先有的不是屬靈的形體，而是血肉之軀，以後才有屬靈的形體。第一個人亞當來自地上，是用塵土造的，但第二個人基督來自天上。塵土所造的那位是什麼樣，屬地的人也是什麼樣；從天而來的那位是什麼樣，屬天的人也是什麼樣。

更何況源自塵土、住在土造的軀殼裡、脆弱如蛾的世人呢？

我們在這「帳篷」裡勞苦歎息，並非想脫去這地上的身體，而是切望能穿上那天上的新身體，讓永恆的生命吞滅必朽的身體。

可以承受那不會朽壞、沒有污點、不會衰殘、為你們存留在天上的產業。

我父的家裡有許多住處，不然我就不會說去為你們安排地方了。我安排好了以後，必定回來接你們到我那裡。我在哪裡，讓你們也在哪裡。

你必汗流滿面，才有飯吃，一直到你歸回塵土。因為你是塵土造的，也必歸回塵土。」

一切都要這樣被焚毀，你們在熱切等候上帝來臨的日子期間，該怎樣過聖潔、敬虔的生活啊！因為到那日，天要被火焚毀，有形有質的都要被烈火熔化燒盡。

你們也在基督裡受了非人手所行的割禮，是基督為除掉你們的罪惡本性而行的割禮。

「我們聽見祂說，『我要拆毀這座人手建造的聖殿，三天內不靠人力另造一座。』」

因為他盼望的是一座有根基的城，是由上帝設計、建造的。

因為我們是上帝的同工，你們是上帝的園地和建築。

把我提到風中，讓我被風吹走，被暴風拋來拋去。

我向你求救的時候，敵人都落荒而逃。我知道上帝是我的幫助。

我因此而遭受這些苦難，但我不以為恥，因為我知道我所信的是誰，也深信祂能保守祂所託付我的，一直到那日。
