其实先前的荣耀和现今的大荣耀相比，就黯然失色了。

那从前有荣光的，现在因那超越的荣光，就算不得有荣光；

事实上，在这种情况下，那先前有荣光的，因这无限的荣光，就成了没有荣光的。

昔為榮者不足榮、因有超越之榮故耳、

舊典之榮、較愈顯之榮、不足為榮、

昔之所謂榮者、今緣此更大之榮、不足為榮、

舊時之所謂光榮者、今則如見大明而闇然無光矣。
