因为在神面前，无论在得救的人中间，还是在灭亡的人中间，我们都是基督的馨香：

因为我们在神面前，无论在得救的人身上或灭亡的人身上，都有基督馨香之气。

因为无论在得救的人或在灭亡的人当中，我们都是基督馨香之气，是献给上帝的。

蓋吾人乃基督所獻於天主之馨香也；蒙救者聞焉、沉淪者亦聞焉；

For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

God considers us to be the pleasing smell that Christ is spreading. He is spreading it among people who are being saved and people who are dying.

For we are the aroma of Christ to God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing,

Our lives are a Christ like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing.

For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.

原来，十字架的福音对那些正在灭亡的人来说，是愚拙的；但是对我们这些正在被拯救的人来说，却是神的大能。

要在爱中行事，就像基督也爱了我们，为我们舍弃了自己，做供物和祭物献给神，成为馨香的气味。

如今我一切都得到了，并且丰足有余。我已经得以满足了，因为我从以帕弗迪托接受了来自你们的东西；那是馨香的气味，是神所悦纳、所喜悦的祭物。

但如果我们的福音真的被遮盖了，也是在那些正灭亡的人中被遮盖的。对于他们，这世代的神把这些不信之人的心眼弄瞎了，使他们不能洞察基督荣耀的福音之光。基督就是神的形像。

并且使用一切不义的诡计，因为他们不接受那能使他们得救的真理之爱。

耶和华从我在母腹中时就塑造我作他的仆人，为要使雅各回转归向他，使以色列聚集到他那里——我在耶和华眼中看为尊贵，我的神是我的力量——现在耶和华说：“你作为我的仆人，使雅各众支派复兴、使以色列中蒙保守的人回归，只是小事！我还要使你作列国之光，使我的救恩达到地极。”

耶和华闻到了那馨香之气，就心里说：“我绝不再因人的缘故诅咒这地，尽管人从年幼时就心怀邪恶；我也绝不再像我曾做的，毁灭所有的活物。
