To me– less than the least of all the saints– this grace was given, to proclaim to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ

I say again, let no one think that I am a fool. But if you do, then at least accept me as a fool, so that I too may boast a little.What I am saying with this boastful confidence I do not say the way the Lord would. Instead it is, as it were, foolishness.

For whenever someone says,“ I am with Paul,” or“ I am with Apollos,” are you not merely human?What is Apollos, really? Or what is Paul? But when they arrived, he stopped doing this and separated himself because he was afraid of those who were pro- circumcision.And the rest of the Jews also joined with him in this hypocrisy, so that even Barnabas was led astray with them by their hypocrisy.But when I saw that they were not behaving consistently with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all,“ If you, although you are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you try to force the Gentiles to live like Jews?”
