上帝的僕人說：「不要害怕！我們的人比他們的還要多。」

最後，你們要靠著主和祂的大能大力作剛強的人，

對於這些事，我們還可以說什麼呢？上帝若幫助我們，誰能與我們對抗？

孩子們，你們屬於上帝，你們已經勝過了那些假先知，因為在你們裡面的聖靈比在世上運行的邪靈更有能力。

他說：「全體猶大人、耶路撒冷的居民和約沙法王啊，你們要留心聽！耶和華對你們如此說，『你們不要因敵軍強大而恐懼驚慌，因為戰爭的勝敗不在乎你們，而在乎上帝。

「萬軍之耶和華說，『在奠立萬軍之耶和華殿的根基那天，眾先知都在場。現今聽見這些先知之言的人啊，你們要剛強，以便可以建造聖殿！

那時，十個來自列國、講不同語言的人必拉住一個猶大人的衣角，說，讓我們跟你們同去吧，因為我們聽說上帝與你們同在。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。』」

你若謹遵耶和華藉摩西吩咐以色列的律例和典章，就必亨通。你要剛強勇敢，不可驚慌害怕。

你們要剛強勇敢，不要怕他們，因為你們的上帝耶和華與你們同在，祂不會撇下你們，也不會離棄你們。」摩西把約書亞叫來，當著全體以色列人的面對他說：「你要剛強勇敢！因為你要帶領百姓進入耶和華起誓賜給他們祖先的土地，把土地分給他們。

以賽亞對他們說：「告訴你們主人，耶和華這樣說，『你不要因亞述王的僕人那些褻瀆我的話而害怕。我必驚動亞述王的心，讓他聽見一些風聲後便返回本國，在那裡死於刀下。』」

耶和華囑咐嫩的兒子約書亞：「你要剛強勇敢，因為你要帶領以色列人進入我起誓應許他們的土地，我必與你同在。」

他對我說：「倍受眷愛的人啊，不要怕，願你平安！要剛強勇敢。」我聽到他的話，便有了力量，於是對他說：「我主啊，請說，因為你使我有了力量。」

大衛又對兒子所羅門說：「你要堅定勇敢地去做！不要懼怕，也不要驚慌，因為我的上帝耶和華必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，祂必與你同在，直到聖殿的一切工作完畢。

你要剛強勇敢，因為你要帶領這些人佔領我起誓賜給他們祖先的土地。你只要剛強勇敢，謹遵我僕人摩西所吩咐你的一切律法，毫不偏離，就可以無往不利。你要常常誦讀這律法書，晝夜不斷地思想，以便謹遵律法書上的一切指示。這樣，你必亨通、順利。我再次吩咐你，要剛強勇敢！不要害怕，也不要灰心，因為你無論走到哪裡，你的上帝耶和華必與你同在。」

要對膽怯的人說：「你們要剛強，不要懼怕。看啊，你們的上帝必來拯救你們，為你們復仇，施行報應。」

不要聽希西迦的話去倚靠耶和華，說什麼耶和華必拯救你們，這城必不會落在亞述王手中。』

現在你要謹慎，因為耶和華揀選你來建造殿宇作聖所。你要堅定不移地去做。」

我兒啊！你要靠著基督耶穌的恩典剛強起來。
