耶和華說：「信靠世人、倚靠血肉之軀、背叛耶和華的人該受咒詛！

他說：「全體猶大人、耶路撒冷的居民和約沙法王啊，你們要留心聽！耶和華對你們如此說，『你們不要因敵軍強大而恐懼驚慌，因為戰爭的勝敗不在乎你們，而在乎上帝。

然而主站在我身旁加給我力量，使我可以把福音清楚地傳給外族人。主把我從獅子口裡救了出來。

上帝與我們同在，祂率領我們。祂的祭司就要吹響向你們進攻的號角。以色列人啊，不要與你們祖先的上帝耶和華作對，因為你們絕不會得勝。」

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的上帝是我們的堡壘。

因為你們的上帝耶和華要與你們同去，為你們爭戰，使你們得勝。』

第二天清晨，眾人起來去提哥亞的曠野。他們出發的時候，約沙法站著說：「猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民啊，請聽我說！要信靠你們的上帝耶和華，你們就必堅立；要相信祂的先知，你們就必得勝。」

憂慮的心使人消沉，一句良言振奮人心。

我是你的上帝，我必與你同在，你不用驚慌也不用害怕。我必賜你力量，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。』

「你們和敵人交戰時，面對比你們強大的軍隊及戰車戰馬，不要害怕，因為你們的上帝耶和華與你們同在，祂曾帶領你們離開埃及。

孩子們，你們屬於上帝，你們已經勝過了那些假先知，因為在你們裡面的聖靈比在世上運行的邪靈更有能力。

因為我與你同在，沒有人能夠傷害你，在這城裡還有許多屬我的子民。」

亞撒呼求他的上帝耶和華說：「耶和華啊，唯有你才能幫助弱小的勝過強大的。我們的上帝耶和華啊，求你幫助我們，因為我們依靠你，奉你的名迎戰這大軍。耶和華啊，你是我們的上帝，不要讓人勝過你。」

不要讓希西迦欺騙你們，以為耶和華必拯救你們。列國的神明中有哪個曾經從亞述王手中救他的國家呢？

萬軍之耶和華與我們同在，雅各的上帝是我們的堡壘。（細拉）

約書亞能一鼓作氣殺敗諸王，征服他們的土地，都是因為有以色列的上帝耶和華為以色列人爭戰。

你有上帝那樣的臂膀嗎？你能像祂那樣發出雷鳴嗎？

所以，不要讓希西迦欺騙、迷惑你們，也不要相信他！任何民族或國家的神明都不能從我和我祖先手中救他的人民，何況你們的上帝呢？』」

願主與你的靈同在！願恩典與你們同在！

你們設計謀吧，但休想得逞！你們定策略吧，但休想成功！因為上帝與我們同在。
